A 12 year old, on their own, waving a gun around .. pointing at people .. seems reasonable to you?

 

I'd think the dodgy cop with the gun plays more of a part here.

 

How often is it that police pull up within mere feet of someone and then open fire without even giving an order? Even on COPS they at least yell "get on the ground!"

 

The cop is clearly at fault. But the parents are almost as responsible. If they'd been parenting properly, that kid would never have been in such a situation. Until parents start taking responsibility for their boys, this will keep happening. Yes, this cop was a wrong-un, and should be dealt with accordingly, but exposing your kids to interactions with police AT ALL, is a serious problem. Most of us never have encounters with the police which aren't in our own interests .. in our lifetimes. How is it that this kid had the worst kind of exposure, at only age 12? Why was he ever in a situation where such things could happen?

 

Someone asked where the parents were, and why the kid was alone waving a gun. I answered by showing that his parents are worthless losers, and it's no surprise they didn't know this was going on.

What's the best thing we can do .. while waiting for our law enforcement institutions to sort out the dodgies? How can we avoid becoming the target of such nutjobs? It's very bloody simple.

When someone has been walking around a park pointing guns at people or when they pull up on someone not pointing guns at people.

If this has been a white kid pointing guns at people and got shot, it would have never even been a story, because we'd have given everyone a collective "duh".

 

When I was that age, I'd often leave the house for hours at a time. But 30+ years ago was a much different time.

Actually as long as they obey the laws of the land most other citizens don't care what Blacks do and thus they don't really think about them most of the time. After all, why should they? That's apparently a shock to some radical activist type blacks and to ALL leftists; but that's reality. The sticker of course being . . . the . . . law. Obey the law. Kaepernick's protest was really about Blacks having to obey the law and the rather obvious fact that he thinks that only Whites and perhaps Brown Hispanics should have to do that.

There is that. I am trying to recall whether it was Sweden or Germany; but in one of those nations wherein Muslim refugees molested and raped women the general population BLAMED the molested and raped women for wearing normal clothing and for straying into areas that they should just have somehow KNOWN were no longer safe . . . when there were no warning signs or such posted anywhere.
