No, that is wrong. It is not illegal to violate an ethics code of conduct anymore than it is illegal to violate any other organization or companies rules of ethics. But it can get a person fired and can prevent a person from being hired if it is the person's prior history.

Elizabeth Warren was briefly censured for violation the rules of the Senate. In your view, everyone now could accurately claim she engaged in "illegal conduct" as a US Senator. So, is that your view of it? Warren committed an "illegal act" as a US Senator for attacking Jeff Session's reputation before a Senate committee in violation of Senate Rules?

Had he come clean from the start, apologized, asked for forgiveness and expressed remorse for misconduct when he was young, claiming he then devoted his life to God, family, faithfulness, justice and County, he could have survived this. I would respect Gloria Alred much more had she sued Moore in a court of law. No teen should be treated as this woman says she was. But the issue here is the law. Alred is a lawyer. She knows how to file a suit.

 

I have as of today, never defended Moore over sex issues, but have sought the use of the law. And by correctly using law, let the court dispense of this. The woman who says she was tossed out of the car should be compensated for pain and suffering. The story she told is reprehensible to say the least. I question Alred over what she did. She should have made proper use of the court system.

 

Given how FOND right wingers are of the unborn, I think many would like to date a fetus..
