Whatever son. If Kaepernick gets signed it isn't a victory for you. If he doesn't get signed, it's not a victory for me.

I'll still spend two weeks of your salary on Texans season tickets and not bat an eye. You'll be here trying to troll.

Considering that the Civil Rights Act and Voting Rights Act have been the law of the land for over 50 years, plus the fact that we've had reverse-discrimination against White people in this country since the mid-1970's, life should have been at least as good for Black people as it has been for those of any other color. If not, why not... and, tell the TRUTH.... My guess, formulated over many years of observation, is that this truth hurts....

if you're approaching a situation where you aren't willing to shoot with your finger on the trigger, you're a dipshit and shouldn't be in charge of wiping your own ass

all cops that shoot someone out of negligence ought to be tried, shot and their bodies thrown to the forest for the scavengers

Well you just told me everything I needed to know about your level of firearms knowledge.

No. You don't put your finger on the trigger until you have made the decision to shoot.

That's how this rookie cop accidentally shot someone, after all.

i don't see how you think you're disagreeing with me by saying this. the fact that he violated gun safety so flagrantly is why he should be punished.

i've spent plenty of time at the range. i've internalized gun safety and i don't get paid to make life or death decisions with them.

The disagreement is that you might escalate as a cop to pointing a weapon at someone, but your finger should not be on the trigger until you decide you need to fire.

If that basic safety rule had been followed, no accidental shooting would have occurred.

    I didn't say he shouldn't be punished.

What I'm saying is that a minority rookie cop accidentally shooting someone is not evidence of some kind of "vast white cop conspiracy to shoot black people".

Then why did you feel the need to say he lost to a white QB.

And there is zero evidence he was shot for being black and obvious evidence he was shot for waving around a gun.

Good for GQ. I haven't read it in years, but I'll have to start checking it out online.

It is very rare to see such a conscientious approach in today's magazines.

I tried to buy a CK jersey at the NFL Shop, but it did not work. They still had him listed in the system, but it would not print out a jersey.

Frustrated censorship is funny when it fails.

Colin Kaepernick is one of the most influential people in America. His willingness to take a knee has changed the behavior of millions of Americans and is impacting the entertainment industry. If the powers that be had been smart they would have at least tried to resolve his issues. Now his cause has become a movement and who can see where it will end?

BTW, all black Americans are multi-racial.

It'll end with a lot of unemployed people who used to make millions.

Who exactly has he influenced? Other overpaid football players to take a knee to protest an imaginary injustice? lol

I'm simply asking if African hair offends you. Apparently it does.

And, FYI, I surely do not tolerate racism masquerading as "opinion."

The point is that right-wingers are hypocrites. (Also, the humor is that most conservatives don't read this magazine anyway. It's like Scientific American publishing an article on global warming and then right-wingers declaring their intent to stop reading the magazine. Total humor.)

But this is what African hair naturally looks like. You don't whine when a white woman grows her straight hair long, yet if a black woman does, you'll call it "ridiculous." And yes, it's racist.

It's his natural hair. Why does it offend you?

If GQ wanted to honor a football payer they could have picked J.J. Watt, a player that raised $37 million for the people of Houston after their hurricane/floods.

None of which you have provided....

Love for people who mock, deride, castigate, and make fun of nearly everything and everyone who did make this country great, back when it was great? No, I have nothing but contempt for creatures like these, and wish that instead of wiping their asses in our faces any more, they'd go discover the joys of living in some socialistic third-world quagmire, which seems to be what they really want instead of living in the United States.

Suggestion: Kaepernick needs to get himself a job with the International Federation of American Football (IFAF) somewhere they'll be happy to kiss his somewhat-Blackish ass -- like Nigeria!

    Links: http://ifaf.org ... http://www.americanfootballinternational.com/category/africa/nigeria/

I'm sure most all the African pro football teams are at least 75% Black, too, so, Kaepernick would be right at home! :hippie:
