I would simply like to point out that you have an opportunity to chip away at the negative perception much of this nation holds of your state or to solidify it as accurate and in fact probably make it even worse. The ball is truly in your court...it is entirely up to you.
Why would people have a negative opinion of Alabama? I've been there once and found it to be friendly, and Birmingham was a very clean city, at least what I saw of it. Those who have negative preconceptions probably should not spout off if they don't know what they are talking about...
Alabama has certainly left a bad impression on the rest of the country. Many evangelicals are using their "Christian values" to support Moore. The governor had to resign for the very same type of thing Moore is being accused of, Alabama didn't deliver their brightest either with Jefferson Sessions. So yeah, Alabama is a pile of rubble.
Not too long ago there was a graph that came out, I forget which source, but it showed deep red states like Kentucky relied more on government assistance than states like Illinois and Hawaii. I would not live in a red state if my life depended on it. Nebraska is the only state that is still dependent on coal, Republicans just polluted South Dakotan's land with that huge oil spill, and Texas has a stark stance toward immigration. Red states are not for rational thinking people.
I am pretty sure they do not care about what Roy is accused of, many believe it's what Mary and Josephs would do, thus Jesus would approve.... many are getting out their Nativity scenes already in support of Roy Moore I am sure they could prove us wrong... but I doubt it... bigly.. so sad!
Umm. You know 2 of the last 3 Illinois governors are or were doing federal time for corruption right? You do know that the top 3 states for corruption conviction are Illinois, New York, and California right?
Did the voters know of the corruption and decided to vote for them anyway? I mean, like many Republicans in Alabama are doing in the pervert's case? This is not about the politicians, you know. It's about the voters. Will the voters in Alabama turn a blind eye on sexual assault of children?
I'm going to go further. Vote for Roy Moore. Unless the signature in the high school yearbook is not an auto signature. Since Gloria Allred who is a DNC operative is involved, Allred has a really long track history of doing dirty crap for Democrats. For some really explainable reason, Allred hasn't been barred from practicing law or prosecuted for breaking laws.
what does that have to do with anything, your gonna vote immorally cause you think someone else did it's fine if people vote for him... just don't try to claim they are the family values party anymore if they do, as they like Roy have shown their true colors
Alabama has certainly left a bad impression on leftist with their insistence on maintaining Christian values . . . etc or, indeed, believing in God at all. There, fixed it for you.
You whiffed again at the entire comment. A lot of you voted for the Skankipotimus knowing full well what a corrupt and vile beast she is. True colors? I think there's a song about that.
Psssst . . . Texas is now roughly about fifty percent Hispanic -- and thus so much for the immigration shibboleth. Perhaps our leftists should cease getting ALL of their 'facts' from hate-filled leftist sources.
Well no; our bigoted leftists do not know about any of that because they get all their news from propagandized leftist sources.
