Republicans seem to have a problem that goes back, at least, to 1991.

Trump is an admitted sexual predator (Access Hollywood tapes).

In the Alabama Republican primary, Trump backed the establishment candidate, Luther Strange. He lost.

Steve Bannon and Trump's base supported Roy Moore.

In Alabama the same people who gave the state to Trump by 29% also voted for Moore. To emphasize, Trumpians voted for Moore.

Yesterday, the sexual predator, Trump, endorsed the pedophile, Moore, for the U.S. Senate.

    The Washington Post writes:

President Trump signaled Tuesday that he would be A-okay if Alabama voters elect a man accused of sexual misconduct with teenage girls. Echoing Kellyanne Conway's comments from the day before, Trump suggested he needs votes in the Senate, and he said Roy Moore's Democratic opponent is too liberal.

For GOP consultant Stuart Stevens, it made him long for the days when the GOP didn't make such bargains. Stevens pointed specifically to another off-year election in the Deep South: the 1991 Louisiana governor's race in which former KKK leader David Duke became the GOP standard-bearer.

    stuart stevens @stuartpstevens

President Bush endorsed the Democratic candidate running against David Duke and directed the La. Republican Party to work to defeat Duke, an effort led by former Republican Governor Dave Treen. https://twitter.com/samstein/status/932798191313080320 …

Following Charlottesville, Trump defended the invading white supremacists, neo-Nazis, and the KKK, earning the gratitude of Duke who thanked him for his remarks.

Why is the Republican Party embracing far right extremists and pedophiles?

Why did 90 million Americans stay home on Election Day and allow this disease to invade the Oval Office?

And Eagles fly and bears crap in the woods and blah blah blah

I've wasted several minutes of my not very valuable time reading your post which tells me absolutely nothing that everyone in the world doesn't already know.

And that is the difference between the left and the right - you have no new material while i'm still rummaging around the top of the Democrat trash bin.

Just for the sake of argument I'll name some names: Conyers, Franken, Menedez, Weiner, Weinstein; Rose, Clinton, Lasseter, Thrush, Berganza, Louis CK, Oreskes, Fish, Halperin, Najera, Steele, Price; all names that are high in the Democrat hierarchy or fake news media and all have been outed in the past few months.

I can hardly wait for list of names associated with this: "Since 1997, Congress has paid at least $15 million to settle complaints about sexual harassment, racial discrimination, and violations of the Americans With Disabilities Act under the umbrella of the Congressional Accountability Act (CAA) of 1995." I'll bet there are a ton of Democrats and never-Trumpers on that listy.

OBVIOUSLY, this is a thread about Republicans, -not Democrats.

Thank you for a valiant attempt at deflection, however. It's a good right wing tradition.

Our "leaders" within Washington, want you thinking this way. They want Americans divided to the point of anger and hatred. They want whites to feel guilty and shamed, they want black's to feel as if they are a victim. And this is what we are literally seeing. Americans still fall for it. You think change for the better occurred under Obama? What about Bush? go back to Clinton, and further. What your seeing done by American leaders is "controlled opposition". And indeed, they are in complete control, everything is going as planned for them, for a group of people are within and control "both sides".

Left wing or right wing, it's always the same bird, or in this case eagle.

Trump's appointment of Scott Pruitt as head of the EPA is akin to allowing a fox in the hen house. Trump's FCC Chairman Ajit Pai is planing to remove net neutrality rules. Trump's education secretary, Betsy Devos, is not a fan of public education, preferring charter schools instead.

Sometimes I think Trump does this stuff just to piss us off.

You: "Why did 90 million Americans stay home on Election Day and allow this disease to invade the Oval Office?"

What do you mean disease from Trump and his administration? For decades now Washington is a cesspool of disease.

Those who have been outed were outed because progressives put morals before partisanship. While to Republicans, it's the other way around.

And, BTW, if you add together what all those did combined, they don't even come near the type of despicable behavior by Moore. Destroying the life of children is a completely different ball game. And desperately trying to find ways to excuse that behavior for the sake of partisanship is a real betrayal to our kids.

Shame on those who would excuse Roy Moore for any reason whatsoever.

If people want to hold government on a pedestal, and act as if the government is needed, they will receive what they wanted.

If people continue to elect rich criminals as their "rulers", and act as if the rulers are needed, they are only getting what they asked for. These people in the crowd are gathered in celebration of their master. How pathetic, no matter what side "left or right".

    http://www.mcclatchydc.com/news/pol...2644/alternates/LANDSCAPE_1140/obamacrowd2009

Common knowledge of doing what is right, doing what is good, is all that is needed. People should love and help one another, as opposed to looking for a select few to solve their problems, in which the select few have no idea about.

People of earth want more wars, keep clinging to the feet of your masters.

He is right though, 25 years of supporting accused rapist and sex-offender Bill Clinton, nominating his wife accused of intimidating and silencing victims of sex crimes to be the party's standard-bearer, decades of accepting campaign contributions from Hollywood perverts like Weinstein, decades of letting perverts like Rose and Thrush do your bidding in the MSM....

If this is not party over morals, nothing is.

If there is one thing I learned in life it's this: If one is to reveal to others what get's to them or how to upset them, others will use that, "to get to them".

You’re partly right, however, it’s to make you piss off with your authoritarian attitude towards private citizens and companies.

    So, piss off.

    Also, happy thanksgiving.

The point Shanks is trying to make is that we should have all voted for the known enabler of sexual assault instead of someone thats been accused of it.

And anyone that says that tape isnt locker room talk is either a liar or never been in a locker room.

So your defense of Trump is that he was lying?

Well he lies so much that it is an easy defense to make but....

    :roflol:Trump endorsed Moore yesterday.

Did you happen to remember that the Republican Party chose an imperial wizard of the KKK for its candidate to be Louisiana governor in 1991?

    I didn't know that. I wager most readers didn't.

Yes, it is all getting rather sickening. However, there are some major differences. None of those people are President. Trump is our President, and he has admitted that he is a sexual predator. Also, none of these people endorsed a pedophile for the U.S. Senate. Trump did.

Also, you seem to think that because all these people have engaged in sexual misconduct, than it is okay for Trump and Moore to do it. That is interesting thinking. Actually, a good many of these people have taken responsibility for their actions and have been punished. The same should happen to Trump and Moore.
