Saudi Arabia’s powerful Crown Prince called the Supreme Leader of Iran “the new Hitler of the Middle East” in an interview with the New York Times published on Thursday, sharply escalating the war of words between the arch-rivals.

The Sunni Muslim kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Shi’ite Iran back rival sides in wars and political crises throughout the region.

Mohammed bin Salman, who is also Saudi defense minister in the U.S.-allied oil giant kingdom, suggested the Islamic Republic’s alleged expansion under Ayatollah Ali Khamenei needed to be confronted.

“But we learned from Europe that appeasement doesn’t work. We don’t want the new Hitler in Iran to repeat what happened in Europe in the Middle East,” the paper quoted him as saying......snip~

Well waddaya know, a Saud that actually isn't trembling to call out the EYETOLDYASO. Good for him. I suggest he listen to some gangster rap so he can keep the diss on that piece of garbage in Iran.

Saudi Crown Prince speaks on anti-corruption drive, Islam, women’s rights and ‘new Hitler’......

In an interview with the New York Times published on Thursday, Mohammed bin Salman, who is also Saudi defense minister, suggested the Islamic Republic’s alleged expansion under Ayatollah Ali Khamenei needed to be confronted.

“But we learned from Europe that appeasement doesn’t work. We don’t want the new Hitler in Iran to repeat what happened in Europe in the Middle East,” the paper quoted him as saying. Here is Mohammed bin Salman’s take on different issues:

    Anti-corruption campaign
    Yemen conflict
    Women rights

    Donald Trump
He praised President Trump as “the right person at the right time” and added that with his support the Saudis and their Arab allies were slowly building a coalition to stand up to Iran......snip~

    http://english.alarabiya.net/en/New...ive-Islam-women-s-rights-and-new-Hitler-.html

That's where he is on the issues. Seems like he knows Iran is going to be dealt with. One way or another.

Oh, and most major News networks are carrying him about calling Irans leader the New Hitler.

Iran has said today that if Israel and Hezbollah have another confrontation, Israel will be destroyed. Strong words. God knows where this will end. I don't understand why Iran doesn't tend their own business.

So, the 'new' regime in Riyaad, is still on board with the Zionist mantra of...Iran is evil..

    What a surprise.

I very much doubt they were Shia as the guy who created the group which is given most responsibility for this
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abul_A'la_Maududi

You can see here they received Persian and Pashto (whatever that is) translations of Islamic books but funding from Saudi Arabia

What else can one expect from Salman, the evil man of the East, than calling the head of Iran:Hitler.

    It doesn't sell Salman.

Not only are they on board, but they want us to attack Iran. Didn't Margot say the Saudis are peaceful people, as the genocide in Yemen goes on and on.

The only tirades I hear are those against Iran, and not only from Israel but from Saudi Arabia as well. Do those people realize that if there's a war with Iran, the whole Middle East will be in flames? The oil wells in KLA will be lit up from one end to the other.

Of course it would be to Russia's benefit, since then they can charge as much they want for oil, but there would be an economic depression such as the world has never seen before. How stupid can people get. Are those people for real?

Tirades against Iran have been routine for 25 years and they haven't come from Saudi Arabia.

    That is correct.

From the link--a sample of what happens to "intellectuals" under determinedly genocidal Muslims:

    "Killing of intellectuals
Main article: 1971 killing of Bengali intellectuals
During the war, the Pakistani Army and its local collaborators, mainly Jamaat e Islami carried out a systematic execution of the leading Bengali intellectuals. A number of professors from Dhaka University were killed during the first few days of the war.[103][104] However, the most extreme cases of targeted killing of intellectuals took place during the last few days of the war. Professors, journalists, doctors, artists, engineers and writers were rounded up by the Pakistani Army and the Razakar militia in Dhaka, blindfolded, taken to torture cells in Mirpur, Mohammadpur, Nakhalpara, Rajarbagh and other locations in different sections of the city to be executed en masse, most notably at Rayerbazar and Mirpur.[105][106][107][108] Allegedly, the Pakistani Army and its paramilitary arm, the Al-Badr and Al-Shams forces created a list of doctors, teachers, poets, and scholars.[109][110]

During the nine-month duration of the war, the Pakistani Army, with the assistance of local collaborators systematically executed an estimated 991 teachers, 13 journalists, 49 physicians, 42 lawyers, and 16 writers, artists and engineers.[107] Even after the official ending of the war on 16 December there were reports of killings being committed by either the armed Pakistani soldiers or by their collaborators. In one such incident, notable filmmaker Jahir Raihan was killed on 30 January 1972 in Mirpur allegedly by the armed Beharis. In memory of the persons who were killed, 14 December is observed in Bangladesh as Shaheed Buddhijibi Dibosh ("Day of the Martyred Intellectuals").[88][107][111]

Notable intellectuals who were killed from the time period of 25 March to 16 December 1971 in different parts of the country include Dhaka University professors Dr. Govinda Chandra Dev (philosophy), Dr. Munier Chowdhury(Bengali literature), Dr. Mufazzal Haider Chaudhury (Bengali Literature), Dr. Anwar Pasha (Bengali Literature), Dr M Abul Khair (history), Dr. Jyotirmoy Guhathakurta (English literature), Humayun Kabir (English literature), Rashidul Hasan (English literature), Ghyasuddin Ahmed, Sirajul Haque Khan, Faizul Mahi, Dr Santosh Chandra Bhattacharyya[112] and Saidul Hassan (physics), Rajshahi University professors Dr. Hobibur Rahman (mathematics), Prof Sukhranjan Somaddar (Sanskrit), Prof Mir Abdul Quaiyum (psychology) as well as Dr. Mohammed Fazle Rabbee (cardiologist), Dr. AFM Alim Chowdhury (ophthalmologist), Shahidullah Kaiser (journalist), Nizamuddin Ahmed (journalist),[113] Selina Parvin (journalist), Altaf Mahmud (lyricist and musician), Dhirendranath Datta (politician), Jahir Raihan (novelist, journalist, film director) and Ranadaprasad Saha (philanthropist).[114][115]"
