Boy, you are all over the place. You seem willing to talk about anyone not named Trump. It's funny, really. Only a Trumpian would ask a question like that. Honestly, it is so stupid I am not wasting my time answering it.
You could have stopped right there. Another first for Trump. Now he is having the IRS protect his tax returns. Why is that? But, as one poster put it, that won't stop Mueller from getting his hands on them. He may already have done that. It was months ago that we told Mueller was looking into the Trump family finances.
So, according to you, this is the new/old normal. According to you, we should do nothing to stop a hostile foreign power from interfering in our elections. It is what nations do. Also, it is permissible, according to you, for American to work with a hostile foreign power in our Presidential elections. It is what nations do. Don't you feel a bit foolish? If you want to get out of a hole, the first step is, stop digging. It may be what other nations try to do, some successfully as is the case with Russia when she assisted Trump, but it is also true that other nations try to put a stop to it. But not this nation. Trump has done nothing to prevent Russia from doing it again. Indeed, he is the only one on the planet who thinks Russia did not interfere in our election. He still says it is a hoax perpetrated by the Democrats.
Once again, I did not say that. It is rather easy for you to win arguments when you state what the other side believes.
Wow. You are delusional. No one expects this to shield the taxes from Mueller. This is to protect them from thieves that will then sell them to the media. I cant believe I had to spell this out for you.
Another case of much ado about nothing. The left wingers have been doing this same old crap for a year - no one pays attention anymore. I wish the left could come up with some new material - this is like watching the same rerun over and over and over.
Threads like this are why people are losing interest. And also why the smoking guns are getting more and more vague.
No, not those exact words, but that is what you meant. Then, when pinned down as to your exact meaning, now you are backtracking. Did you learn that from Trump? He does that all the time.
i'm saying I'm fine with taking reasonable measures to protect the U.S. electoral system from foreign (or domestic) interference. But you have to understand that one nation interfering in anothers election is not the apocalyptic thing you seem to think it is. Technically it is not even an act of war.
But you didn't say that. I said it. Worse, far worse, Trump hasn't said it. Trump has not done a thing to prevent Russia from doing this again in future elections. He still thinks the Russian interference is a Democratic hoax. Also, you have yet to mention the possible involvement of Trump's staff. A very real possibility as several other threads show. You also said collaboration with the Russians is not illegal or unethical. It is both along with being politically stupid. Who said anything about it being apocalyptic? That's right. You did. It is not apocalyptic, but the interference in our elections by a hostile foreign power is a serious matter. If Americans collaborated in that effort, that, too, is a serious matter. You seem to have a hard time understanding that.
Or reporters who want to know why the President doesn't want anyone to know what he is hiding in his tax returns and why he lied about making them public during the election. His tax returns would be the greatest story of the century. That's enough to kill for. I can't believe I had to spell that out for you. Explain to me why the IRS has to hide his tax returns. There are private businesses who can secure the returns, probably better.
You wish all that were true. You don't want the truth to be told about Trump anymore because he is such a weird man and it is getting overwhelming. That is not going to happen. The truth will be told about our President and there isn't a thing you two can do about it. Instead of whining, why not try to defend your hero for a change? Now there is a novel idea for Trumpians. This story broke Friday.
That's why only the IRS can provide security for the tax returns? That makes no sense. This is typical Trump. None of this makes sense. Unless ... this is still another diversion. Two of his closest associates have been indicted. A member of his election team, Papadopulous, is an informant for the special prosecutor. Flynn is probably cooperating with Mueller. People within the White House are being questioned by Mueller. People within the White House are being called to appear before Senate and House investigating committees. Trump would rather have people talking about the IRS and tax returns than that damaging stuff.
Trump is safeguarding his returns from some "Deep State" leaker. You know, kind of like Obama's college transcripts?
I hear you. If these tax returns are so heinous, why isn't Trump in trouble with the IRS, and why are they protecting him? LOL!
Trump's problems continue. He can't afford to lose one Senator, but he just might. Even if he wins, he loses. Senator Lindsey Graham had this to say about Trump's endorsement of Roy Moore. I couldn't agree with him more (pardon the pun). He bemoaned Trump's support for Alabama Senate Republican candidate Roy Moore on Sunday, calling the move a lose-lose situation. "If he wins, we get the baggage of him winning, and it becomes a story every day about whether or not you believe the women or Roy Moore, should he stay in the Senate, should he be expelled?" Graham said on CNN's "State of the Union." "If you lose, you give the Senate seat to a Democrat at a time where we need all the votes we can get. "The moral of the story is don't nominate someone like Roy Moore who can actually lose the seat any other Republican could win," the South Carolina Republican told anchor Dana Bash. "And what I would tell President Trump: if you think winning with Roy Moore is going to be easy for the Republican Party, you're mistaken." Now who is responsible for Moore becoming the Republican nominee? Trump's base, that's who. The same people who voted for Trump in Alabama voted for Moore.
Funny how you blame Trump for Roy Moore when Trump endorsed Strange for the Senate. What does he have to do?
I can multi-task. I have a few threads working on the Russian probe. Trump is an interesting character, and other "stuff" demands my attention as well.
Really? Trump refuses to blame Russia for interfering in our election. It is a hoax, according to him. He is the only one on the planet who thinks like that. Is there a reason? Trump refuses to condemn Russia for her invasion of Ukraine and annexing Crimea, supporting the murderous dictator, Assad, and supplying arms and nuclear equipment to Iran. He also refuses to take steps to prevent Russian interference in future elections. Is there a reason for all this? The answer could lie in the tax returns. Does he have investments in Russia? Does Putin have something on Trump? One thing is obvious. He is the first President in 40 years not to release his tax returns. He is hiding something.
Honestly, do you have a reading comprehension problem? I said, "Now who is responsible for Moore becoming the Republican nominee? Trump's base, that's who. The same people who voted for Trump in Alabama voted for Moore." Yes, the same people who were attracted to Trump are responsible for Moore. For some reason Trump changed his mind again. He supported the establishment candidate. His base didn't buy it.
He releases them people will say crap and accuse him of stuff. He does not people say crap and accuse him of stuff. So it is lose lose for him. Why would he? But to me I just dont care about them. We already know he is pro Russia his tax returns can only tell us more of why.
