Up in the mornin' to the rising sun!

Switching from swing to day shift today for at least 2 days.

Having breakfast now ... ground steak patty and 2 fried eggs ... as @Smartmouthwoman would say "enough protein for the whole lived-long day!"

Today is SMW’s Friday, then three days of sleeping in and wearing comfy clothes.

Our weather is in the high 40’s today and overcast a perfect day to stay inside and wrap presents.

they bring their sinful ways down south, corrupting once innocent land and people with their idolatry of money.

we must stand our ground to protect all that is holy.

One can either Sit on Santa's lap and tell him what a good
boy they've been or NOT sit on Santa's lap.
Unless Santa insists on sitting on the lap of You.
    Lapping it up.

they who take personal responsibility, delay gratification, and have good self control, are truly the superiors among humanity.

i humbly beg for their mercy as an inferior.

it must be consensual, we must learn the difference between consent and force when it comes to santa.

So then it's urban myth that Santa needs written permission
    to come down that Chimney.
    Who'd a thunk !

only in America do we get presents in return for sitting on Santa's lap, in other countries there is no Santa Clause.

please be content in the lesser evil, as the world will never be perfect.

It was actually a good thing that I got all my protein at breakfast this morning.

I did not have a chance to eat all day long during my 8 hour morning shift -- from 0700AM to 1500PM (3 o'clock PM).

When I finally got home at 4 o'clock PM I finally ate my tuna sandwich that I was planning to have for lunch.

Then about an hour later I warmed up my Beef-a-roni from yesterday night.

One tall mug of coffee was my only nourishment (sugar and milk in it) all day long.

Came home and crashed on the couch since my body is not used to day shifts yet.

You might want to stock up on some packaged jerky and keep it handy.

We have snow now. About two inches. More snow than we have had in several years. Our power is out.

Does that mean I can put up a sign that says this property protected by Smith and Wesson?

Really?? How exciting. I just looked at the map and if the system doesn't pull north we might get snow..got my fingers crossed.

Changing the subject a bit. When you were mulching your garden did you use oak leaves for mulch as well as pine needles?

Snow in Houston !! They said it on the noon news today.

I did not think it was possible. I thought they would get sleet as usual.

But the big storm went around the Rocky Mountains to the north up into Canada then back down into Texas.

Everyone in the Rockies feels cheated !! No snow yet -- and its not far from Xmas now.

When people ask me how I feel about being alone late at night on watch at a warehouse, I tell them I am not alone -- Jesus watches over me as well as St. Mary and St. Michael and St. Gabriel and St. Rafael and the other archangels as well as Smith And Wesson.

So I have lots of company !!
