Tell me how Trump has an iota a chance of getting reelected or Republicans protecting him from any troubles when he is so disliked?

 

What is he doing that people don't like?

We know that when a poll claims "90% of Americans think ANTIFA is peaceful" it means they went out and interviewed 10 people and 9 of them were Democrats.

The economy continues to grow.

Unemployment and food stamp consumption continue to plummet.

Why don't you wake up and stop hating a guy that is literally making your life better.

 

In the Monmouth poll, Trump has 32% approval?

That poll must be heavily skewed in Trump's favor.

At this point, Trump is lucky if he retains the support of 1/4 of America.

25% is a good approximation of Trump's REAL approval level.

Trump must be happy that the Monmouth poll is skewed in his favor.

32% seems high.

 

You all didn't think he had any chance of winning last year and Trump literally farted in your faces, so remind us again of how he has no chance of winning.

 

Right. Because everyone likes working two or three part-time, low-wage jobs. The economy will go NO WHERE unless income disparity is reversed. It is the purchasing power of the middle class that drives the economy. How is Trump making your life better? Clearly you don’t live downstream from one of his now legal coal sludge dumping sites.

 

Can't say my life is any better at all. Sure, change takes time but the jury is still out on what the effects of trumps policies will have on the middle class.

 

Considering that those who voted for him are running from him in droves, who is going to vote for him, besides you?

Real question is what is he doing that benefits anyone?

 

Well, tax policy would be the most obvious way. Trade policy is another big one - haven't heard much about this lately (and hopefully we won't in the future either).

 

I'll start - Twitter.

 

When Clinton was president, they gave a personal approval rating and a job approval rating. What ever happened to that. Clinton was in the middle of the Lewinski scandal and they would say, "his personal approval ratings are low, but his job approval ratings are high!" Then they would say the economy is good.

So why don't they give Trump credit for a good economy and high job approval ratings?

Well your guy Obama spent about 6 years crusading with his class war and what was the result?

His Presidency expanded the wealth gap beyond all estimations, even its own.

And why?

Because constant attacks on energy took their toll on a market where literally every single thing has an overhead element relative to energy.

And because constant attacks on personal responsibility created a culture where half our population is on some form of entitlement.

 

No he didn't.

The majority of that was created by the Great Recession that GOP policies brought about.

Energy production went up every year of Obama's tenure.

You have a problem with kids receiving foodstamps? Or working families getting benefits to help make ends meet?

Or do you prefer your welfare to go straight to the "farmers" and wealthy?

 

Democrats easily have the numbers to defeat him, he lost pop vote by a huge margin. Just need to get the right votes in the right places. Losing by 70,000 votes across 3 states but winning pop vote by 3 million is just stupid

 

The alt right is fixated on Clinton, they ignore the complete destruction brought on by Bush but we have all moved past that, yet they keep brining up Clinton.

The only credit Trump gets for that is not doing anything to screw up the economic policies left behind by the previous administration.

Me. People are a lot happier now. Thanksgiving had the most travelers taking trips since 2006. Christmas is slated to have the highest sales, major stores are playing Christmas music again and I'm actually in the mood to listen to it again. Things are great, and they're only getting greater. Stay tuned.

Eventually all of the negative press simply becomes noise. I care about results and not opinions

You can hate how Trump talks or be envious of his wealthy family. If you simply need to feel good, then a businessman isn't your cup of tea as they are results driven.
