I have never 'done' heroin but I hear that it is 'stepped' on with many ingredients. And one of the ingredients I've read that is used to mix in during the process of making heroin to sell is laxatives.

I do not know what 'kind' of laxatives might be used since I only know of OTC laxatives such as Ex-Lax.

So I was wondering if I could ask a question....

Can any 'heroin' user out there or someone who knows of someone who uses/does heroin tell me if they, the person, has soft stool when they go to the toilet?

Not diarrhea, not regular stool, but soft, packed stool?

Like I said, I do not use heroin but it seems that some kind of laxative is being added to something I am purchasing. I am beginning to develop that type of junk. Maybe it is the tobacco products or rolling paper or the gumming on the rolling paper? If not the 'gumming' than perhaps the 'dye(s)' used to mark the cigarette or the paper below the butt?

Shouldn't the FDA be overseeing these sorts of things?

A simple advertisement of : [IMG]

is not mentioning that those 'chemicals' known to the State of California that cause cancer and birth defects and other reproductive harm, are mostly the ingredients 'added' to the tobacco during the 'curing' process of the manufacturing process.

To find out that this is/could be occurring would make one to believe that there are people in Industries that seem to be intending to make people's live miserable for no reason at all.

The printing under the 'butt' as well as the little portion of 'brown' which seems to part of the 'butt' but actually isn't. If you tear off the 'butt' or cut off the 'butt' you will see that the 'butt' is not all the 'brown' section. There is about 1 to 1.4 cm of brown paper that is not part of the 'butt'.

I mean, 'dyes' are liquid and so is soft, packed stool.

    I'm just asking, not accusing.

Did you know that a State in India has 'banned' public cigarette smoking in all of that State? The very first time it was ever done in the millennial(s) history of India.

On 12 July 1999, Kerala became the first state in India to ban smoking in public places when a Division Bench of the Kerala High Court declared "public smoking as illegal first time in the history of whole world, unconstitutional and violative of Article 21 of the Constitution."

In 2007, Chandigarh became the first city in India to become 'smoke-free'

Smoking in public places was prohibited nationwide from 2 October 2008 under the Prohibition of Smoking in Public Places Rules, 2008 and COTPA. The nationwide smoke-free law pertains only to public places.

John Hawkins was the first to bring tobacco seeds to England. William Harrison's English Chronology mentions tobacco smoking in the country as of 1573,[6] before Sir Walter Raleigh brought the first "Virginia" tobacco to Europe from the Roanoke Colony, referring to it as tobah as early as 1578.[citation needed] In 1595 Anthony Chute published Tabaco, which repeated earlier arguments about the benefits of the plant and emphasised the health-giving properties of pipe-smoking.

The importation of tobacco into England was not without resistance and controversy. Stuart King James I wrote a famous polemic titled A Counterblaste to Tobacco in 1604, in which the king denounced tobacco use as "[a] custome lothsome to the eye, hatefull to the Nose, harmefull to the braine, dangerous to the Lungs, and in the blacke stinking fume thereof, neerest resembling the horrible Stigian smoke of the pit that is bottomelesse."[9] That year, an English statute was enacted that placed a heavy protective tariff on tobacco imports. The duty rose from 2p per pound to 6s 10p, an increase of 4,000%, but English demand remained strong despite the high price; Barnabee Rych reported that 7,000 stores in London sold tobacco and calculated that at least 319,375 pound sterling were spent on tobacco annually. Because the Virginia and Bermuda colonies' economies were affected by the high duty, James in 1624 instead created a royal monopoly. No tobacco could be imported except from Virginia, and a royal license that cost 15 pounds per year was required to sell it. To help the colonies Charles II banned tobacco cultivation in England, but allowed herb gardens because doctors said it had medicinal purposes.[6]

Tobacco was introduced elsewhere in continental Europe more easily. Iberia exported "ropes" of dry leaves in baskets to the Netherlands and southern Germany; for a while tobacco was in Spanish called canaster after the word for basket, canastro, and influenced the German Knaster. In Italy, Prospero Santacroce in 1561 and Nicolo Torbabuoni in 1570 introduced it to gardens after seeing the plant on diplomatic missions. Cardinal Crescenzio introduced smoking to the country in about 1610 after learning about it in England. The Roman Catholic Church did not condemn tobacco as James I did, but Pope Urban VIII threatened excommunication to anyone smoking in a church.[6]

In Russia, tobacco use was banned in 1634 except for foreigners in Moscow. Peter the Great—who in England had learned of smoking and the royal monopoly—became the monarch in 1689, however. Revoking all bans, he licensed an English company to import 1.5 million pounds of tobacco per year, the monarchy receiving 28,000 pound sterling annually.[6]

The Japanese were introduced to tobacco by Portuguese sailors from 1542.

Tobacco first arrived in the Ottoman Empire in the late 16th century,[10] where it attracted the attention of doctors[11] and became a commonly prescribed medicine for many ailments. Although tobacco was initially prescribed as medicine, further study led to claims that smoking caused dizziness, fatigue, dulling of the senses, and a foul taste/odour in the mouth.[12]

Sultan Murad IV banned smoking in the Ottoman Empire in 1633. When the ban was lifted by his successor, Ibrahim the Mad, it was instead taxed. In 1682, Damascene jurist Abd al-Ghani al-Nabulsi declared: "Tobacco has now become extremely famous in all the countries of Islam ... People of all kinds have used it and devoted themselves to it ... I have even seen young children of about five years applying themselves to it." In 1750, a Damascene townsmen observed "a number of women greater than the men, sitting along the bank of the Barada River. They were eating and drinking, and drinking coffee and smoking tobacco just as the men were doing."[13]

Although Nicotiana suaveolens is native to Australia,[6] tobacco smoking first reached that continent shores when it was introduced to northern-dwelling Indigenous communities by visiting Indonesian fishermen in the early 18th century. British patterns of tobacco use were transported to Australia along with the new settlers in 1788; and in the years following colonisation, British smoking behaviour was rapidly adopted by Indigenous people as well. By the early 19th century tobacco was an essential commodity routinely issued to servants, prisoners and ticket-of-leave men (conditionally released convicts) as an inducement to work, or conversely, withheld as a means of punishment.

If not for smoking purposes, what other purposes might the tobacco plant be used for? Culinary?

It's poisonous. Makes a good pesticide fr anything not susceptible to tobacco viruses.

Heroin is extremely addictive. Some dealers lace lesser drugs with it to addict customers.

Do you know this, or is this anti drug propaganda?

First off many drugs could not be laced with heroin. Every drug simply does not work the same way other drugs do. There are some drugs which might be able to be mixed with heroin, but you just don't lace something like you would by salting a steak. Certain drugs might work for lacing. Pcp is smoked and could be used on a smoked substance. Normal heroin would not be smokable, so most of your situations where you would want to lace something smoked you could not use it.

Second, if you are trying to make lesser drugs more potent with heroin that is dumb. Adding heroin to a lesser scheduled drug may add some time to your conviction. Not to mention heroin is a bit drastic to be wasting and mixing. Killing your customers with a heroin od is a great way to get the cops on your ass, and to really piss off a customer looking for a different high.

Third, why are you going to waste a good seller? You do not have to waste heroin when you could just sell it. It is not like the stuff is a hard sell. This is like the rumor kroc was being sold in America a while back. It made no sense to convert codeine into a more harmful substance that had a lesser high because you could just sell the codeine.

Fourth, heroin is not a one hit addiction. Maybe fentanyl is. Heroin is very addictive, but you are not going to be running a huge dopesick detox because you got trace amounts of a heroin high. It just is not that horribly strong. Maybe if you were a recovering junkie, but you are just not going to get hooked on a partial dose or two. You might not even notice the high depending on what you are mixing with from a tiny bit. A full dose will be noticeable, but not little bits.

Yes, it is a good idea to know what it is you are getting because you can get ripped off and there are dangerous ways to skimp on products by cutting with other substances. It is one of the reasons why drug legalization would provide safer and better products for the consumer and lead to less injury. However, if you are going to make rumors up to scare people off of drugs you would probably not want to say the dealers are making super kick ass stuff by mixing in heroin.

That warning is so ridiculously overused in California. It's on almost everything.

I knew people that got hooked on cocaine when they thought they were just smoking mj. IMO part of the return of heroin has similar reasons. IMO there are dealers out there willing to get clients hooked on harder substances in order to have guaranteed sales.

Heroin is bad news. I knew a person that was making a living just feeding the habit of elderly heroin addicts. Since they often share needles they also share the HIV virus around. It is not a hobby to get involved in. Some even start injecting themselves in the veins in their genitals and eventually lose that part of themselves to infection, etc..

Also, tobacco is poisonous; kids have been poisoned by chewing discarded stubs from ash trays.

How do you get hooked on cocaine from smoking pot? Do you realize the waste chronic is? There is a reason you don't just torch up cocaine. You have to put it in freebase form and then it is evaporated and not smoked. If you burn it you get a bit of the high, but you waste a lot of it and you may be getting effects off what it was cut with.

Oh yeah, I know how to do drugs. If you are sprinkling cocaine on your weed that is like thinking the gold flakes in goldshlager give you a special alcohol buzz. You snort cocaine or convert it into freebase or cheap ass crack which is just a dirty freebase.

Do you understand there is a huge jump from smoking to injecting? The highs are not the same and the addiction is completely different. Also, things like oxycontin are basically the pill form of heroin. The transition drug is not pot, but rather opioid pain killers. Seriously, you think some junkie going through detox is going to be happy with some weed? **** no. It might help a bit, but it is not the same high. You can't give them cocaine either.

You have been blasted with so much bullshit about drugs you have no idea. I was like you. The first time I did cocaine I thought I got ripped off. I was expecting huge things, and I got really energized. But it was not anything huge like I had done before it. Do you realize a lot of people may not enjoy some of the highs that are so addictive? There are a lot of people who if they smoked crack would not ever want to do it again. That does not mean the people who like it are not easily addicted to it.

I've known people addicted to all sorts of things and seen the final disastrous result.

The only thing one really has to know about addictive drugs is to avoid them like the plague. Only the incautious accumulate the kind of drug "knowledge" you value.

If you fear them that is fine. You are much better at knowing your limitations than I am. I have experienced some of these things first hand to have knowledge of the experience. So I can refine the statement to a better description than just watch out for drugs.

Cocaine is a great topical anesthetic.
Used with IV droperidol and fentanyl, someone can jam a breathing tube through your nose and vocal cords, into your trachea, and you won't give a rat's ass

They have their legitimate uses. Unfortunately, the abuse of them by fools has caused our government to allow innumerable numbers of our elderly to die in extreme pain--my mother being one of those.
