Obama refused to even verbally support the "Green Revolution" but did all he could including funding, training and supplying weapons to the Muslim Brotherhood and al Qaeda to overthrow the governments of Tunisia, Egypt, Libya and Syria. Obama watched the murders of the citizens of Iran on a daily basis. Obama discounted the lives of humans for his Iranian Deal and his now exposed failed legacy.

 

Iran is our enemy. Weaken them in any possible way, especially when they are carrying the ball for you.

Maybe instead of flying an aircraft full of cash for the mullah regime like Obama did, fly an aircraft full of walky talkys, ham radios, weapons, and cash to the protesters and let them keep carrying the ball. They might just gain their freedom.

 

How is the Guardian article you link one-sided? It seems like a fairly neutral reporting of the facts as known to me, not favouring anyone involved.

It seems to me that you want one-sided reported, entirely against the Iranian government regardless of the facts or circumstances. The protesters have plenty of valid points and hopefully they achieve some positive change in Iran but media (especially Western media) shouldn’t be taking sides either way.

I didn't claim that the Guardian was biased in their news releases. I was referring to the likes of MSNBC, CNN, WaPo, NY Times, CBS, etc.... Why would they refuse to announce the unrest and protests for more than two days until they were forced to begin releasing the news of the rioting?

 

Your OP was based on a link to an article that said exactly that though. I presumed you’d read it. Maybe if the article was wrong about the Guardian being biased, it could be wrong about its other claims too.

If you were referring to entirely different alleged bias, shouldn’t you have linked some examples of that rather than an accusation you apparently don’t support?

How does this prove your case against against the media? The article notes what government mouthpieces are saying. So who believes them? I want to hear what the regime is saying so I can get an idea of what they're thinking.

There seem to be divides between educated and uneducated, urban an rural, young and old, religious and more secular Iranians with the educated, urban, younger, and more secular opposing the mullahs.

I find it ironic the least educated, older, religious, and rural Americans are the most upset about the Iranian regime. As far as I can tell, the more angry among us are worked up because of religious differences. Hmmm.
