There are always potential side effects.
As we know from recent traffic here turmeric could not possibly be more dangerous than water. ;-)

Yes indeed. Im one whos done everything from Shark Fin Oil to Celery Root Extract. Even 'sold' plant-based miracle food supplements that would cure whatever ailes you. In my professional (bartender) opinion... its all BS. ;)

Third and final phase of making our house solar; installation of the panels and a special meter from the electric company. So far, our electric company doesn't pay people for energy, but the meter will run backwards to zero negating any charges up to that point.

It's one of the greatest scams of modern times. We all sit there and nod sagely, but the truth is that deep down inside, we know we're being lied to.

As a society, we're generally polite in person. Whether we're at a friend's house, or a relative's, or out in public at a restaurant, we don't typically want to create a fuss.

Yes, they'll tell us it's healthy and nutritious, but they're really just being lazy.

Cucumber peels are nasty and bitter. They should never be served to a friend.

    Yup exactly.

My grilled cheese sandwich was with baby swiss this time.

Whenever I have French toast I also boil some maple syrup and add canned berries to it.

    Are you feeling socially awkward?

Yes, the peels are a bit bitter, but the inside is sweet.

I have read much of the Quran (in English -- I don't know Arabic -- you're supposed to read it in Arabic however) and that knocks me out every time after only a few paragraphs.

The Quran is mostly a rant against Jews, Christians, and Arab folk religions called polytheists.

The insides are great! The skin belongs in the disposal.

    Demand peeled cucumbers!

daddy rules with a heavy hand, the women and children are no longer a danger.

it is not for the faint of heart, but if curious try 1000 mg of Niacin to feel the healing rain.

Dinner tonight at my house --

    - broiled steak

    - mashed potatoes

    - gravy

    - gumbo vegies.

With it, Sangria wine mixed with moonshine !!

You cannot buy this anywhere, not even at a steak house !!

It is only at my house !!

I paid for my salad. If it costs more for them to peel the cucumbers, they can charge me more. It's wrong for them to lazily serve me unpeeled cucumbers, then try to tell me that they're healthier that way. It's dishonest and disrespectful.

They served me an excellent ribeye done medium-well, for the listed price, even though rare would have saved them money. So, they can peel the cucumbers, too. It's an affront to civilized society to serve unpeeled cucumbers.

That's different. If you're paying for it, you should have it the way you like.

Tender young pickle skin isn't comparable to tough, bitter, wizened, old cucumber peels.

You may have a point.Cucumbers do have a rather thick skin.
My Mom used to fix a cumcumber and onions w/vinaigrette
at least once a week.usually in the summer.
I eventually got burned out with it.It's not exactly fun food.
I'm basically a meat and potatoes kinda lug.

Of course I have a point! Being served cucumber skin is a scam being foisted on us by lazy people. Just say no to unpeeled cucumbers!

The weird thing though, is that the very same people who would impose cucumber rinds upon us, will peel potatoes. What's up with that? Potato skin actually does taste good.

Maybe it's more than a scam. Maybe it's a conspiracy.
