This "movement " if you want to call it that reminds me of the anti war movement which Indid not agree with but I had to "respect" what they did. That movement was not all grass roots but it eventually affected the middle class that evenrually turned against the Vietnam war.

I disagree.. these kids went through a horrible traumatic experience so anything that they can do to cope is not silly..

But I thought most of the gun control crowd claim they dont want to remove gun rights from America, rather implement a few more 'reasonable restrictions'. Given that the bulk of the gun control leadership are on record supporting measures 'similar to Australia and the UK' where guns are completely banned for the majority of citizens, what does 'you're either with us or against us' mean? Is there room in that statement for supporting gun control while also suporting the constitionally protected right to bear arms? Can you explain how one can be 'with us' in implementing 'UK style' gun control laws without violating the constitution?

As bad as this shooting was, these kids should now be able to go through life and have nothing bother them at all, every problem they ever encounter should seem small by comparison. But somehow I believe these kids would rather be victims for life.

My sister died when she was 16. My father died not too long ago. My fiance literally died in my arms. Does anyone here see me lying in the streets in front of the WH, going on CNN or holding up a stupid piece of cardboard? There's an old saying that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. In my case it's certainly true. In the case of these kids, I have a feeling that old saying just went out the window.

 

While the left is trying their best to overturn the results of the democratic election and disenfranchise half the country that voted for Trump, they want to disarm them as well, just in case. The kids are just pawns though, living through their 15 minutes of fame.

 

I see the moderate left campaign to hold these child victims up as props is being embraced wholeheartedly. They are too young to vote for a reason. Tragedy pimping at its finest.
