The Broward County Sheriff’s Office has identified to Fox News the captain who, according to sources, directed responding deputies and units to “stage” or form a “perimeter” outside Stoneman Douglas High School, instead of rushing immediately into the building, as the mass shooting unfolded there.

Multiple law enforcement and official sources said the commands in the initial moments after Nikolas Cruz allegedly opened fire would go against all training which instructs first responders to “go, go, go” until the shooter is neutralized. As law enforcement arrived, the shooter’s identity and exact location were still unknown.

Multiple sources told Fox News that Captain Jan Jordan was the commanding officer on scene. In an email responding to Fox News’ request for information, a BSO spokesperson wrote, “Capt. Jordan’s radio call sign is 17S1.”

The massacre on February 14 killed 17 people and wounded 16 others.

Sources told Fox News it was Jordan giving the commands because they were recorded on the dispatch logs coming from Jordan’s radio insignia 17S1, or “Seventeen Sierra One.”

This coward has blood on his hands and should be fired for refusing to protect those children.

Trump would have run in there unarmed.

Also, he would have taken the shooters guns before hand because he wants to...

I do not think Trump would run in, but Trump is right, had the police of been able to take this guys guns before hand, it could of stopped him

not sure legally it can be done though, take a right away without due process?

now one could argue people do not have a right to own machine guns and assult rifles like the ar-15, but do other guns

What we need at schools is people savers. If we had people savers at school they would have saved the people that got lost.

People save other people from the bad people who want to kill them. Feel free to insert into my sentence your weapon of choice be it gun, knife or pitchfork.

so you think machine guns should be as easy to get as a hand gun I take it

ironically in his state he was too young to buy a hand gun, but plenty old enough to buy an ar-15

I fully support the 2nd, but do think Machine guns and Assault riffles should be harder to get

Again, people save people, not guns.

It stares directly in the face of “arming teachers”.

So “arming teachers” isn’t the answer then right ?

    The logic here is unassailable.

...mostly because it uses the conclusion as it's evidence.
