If China is the main target why didn't Trum uses WTO rules to attack them? Too complicated? Instead he's attacking BMW and take them as an example for unfair trade. A company which exports cars from the US, has built factories in states with high unemployement and pays a lot of taxes. The US has a negative trading balance with Europe but a large surplus in services and I don't even know if the trillions which the US service industry has parked in tax heavens are even included. If things getting tough the EU will target the US service industry and they don't have to use WTO rules either just implementing tougher privacy rules which will hit them hard. In the end China will be laughing about the supid western countries.
