This "Government employee, unsuitable for the job" was hand-picked by President Small Hands himself.

What does that say about Dirty Donny? I'll tell you. It says he is incompetent in recruiting and retaining the right people for the job.

We all know that's what he is thinking.

After all. Rex Tillerson is a real CEO, unlike Trump who was never more than the the guy who inherited his father's real estate business.

Tillerson could also probably buy and sell Trump several times over, as well.

And he had a long history of working with world leaders and successfully negotiating deals that didn't fall apart in a blizzard of lawsuits and unpaid bills.

Everyone has to think like the Great Leader.

North Koreans know it very well.

Back at you. Trump chose Tillerson.

You are now saying he was the wrong guy for the job, so how do you defend Trump's original choice?

I don't know.... Somebody on here posted that many thought Tillerson was a bad decision to start with, so maybe this isn't a bad decision long term after all.... It's just the timing and the continued turnover that should worry everybody.

    My friend,

President had no political experience, right? Of course right.

The credit of replacing people soon as they proved detrimental to President's agenda goes to the President.

Well you can have a lil optimism. Pompeo is ex military. Graduate at the Top of Class at West Point. So he knows how to organize things, and is use to dealing with all kinds of people. Plus as a Politician he has experience in dealing with other Foreign Politicians.

Yes, congrats to this lady.... Don't know much about her, so I won't assume she is what you claim, but I'll do some reading on her, depending on how much exists...

Really? Instead of me searching your post history to find the comments in which you praise Trump for appointing Rex, and the ones praising Rex as SoS, please just refresh my memory. Why was Trumps appointing Rex good for the country? What do like about Rex? What actions has Rex taken as SoS that you most admire?

So you want to give Dirty Donny the credit for correcting his many mistakes (just look at the number of people who have left the White House) but you are not prepared to criticise him for making those mistakes in the first place.

    Got it.

I didn't think he made a great pick with Tillerson. But it would be natural for you to think he choose the wrong guy for the Job. After all you are a leftist and wouldn't know anything about leading.

Tillerson was an adequate pick. Being a CEO of Exxon and knowing how to negotiate with other Big Business Leaders, would give him some background in how to wheel and deal with Foreigners.

So no....I wouldn't say he was the wrong pick. Especially just walking in the door with someone who wasn't in the Swamp.

In other words, "the president can do no wrong. I will support him whatever happens."

She is an interesting choice. CIA heads are really always political appointees. She, is not. She started on the ground floor, and rose through the ranks the hard way. She knows the agency nuts and bolts and can hit the ground running. I do not trust the CIA much, and she knows where all the bodies are buried, but on the other hand the "deep state" cannot mislead her and she has no learning curve.

Not quite, no. Of course he can, and he does wrong aplenty. It's just the positive things he did to-date overwhelm his mistakes. And until this equation (good over bad) remains, I'll support him.

    I agree.

The faster he gets people of his level of senility, stupidity, ignorance and uselessness...the faster his Presidency goes right down the dumper.

Trump is a dangerous and horrible man to be running America. Clinton would have been just REALLY corrupt and useless. But leaving Trump in charge is like giving the keys to your new Corvette to a 12 year old.

I honestly and sincerely hope he does EXACTLY as you say and finds people to fill these roles who are JUST LIKE TRUMP.

The logic behind this argument is akin to the same drivel used when Trump fired Comey and Trumpettes trotted out the fact that Democrats criticized Comey during his investigation of Clinton. It is entirely logical and non-contradictory to criticize Comey/Tillerson for their decisions and to also criticize Trump for later firing them when, and for the reasons, that he did.

Trump is about to meet with North Korea, the Russia threat continues to pervade the globe, and key ambassadorships are empty. Firing the Secretary of State at this moment, and under these circumstances, is - at best - reckless. Chaos is the White House makes for good television and the distress which is the result of that chaos is pleasing for the Trumpettes who hold their President to the same standard as an internet troll, but it makes for incredibly dangerous foreign policy.

First of all, I am not a "leftist". Recognising Trump for the moron he is does not make anyone a leftist. It makes them perceptive.

You are twisting yourself in circles trying not to criticise your Dear Leader. You say he wasn't the wrong pick, but that it is right to change him after just over a year. Sorry but that doesn't wash. You can't have it both ways.

The fact is that Dirty Donny doesn't want people who are competent. He wants yes-men. He wants people that won't contradict him either publicly or privately, and who won't embarrass him. That is the only thing he cares about.
