Another Obama apologist weighs in. Leaving Iraq and blaming Bush is the worst foreign policy decision since Neville Chamberlain. Obama learned nothing from history and ignored the recommendations of all of his own advisors. He was either stupid or corrupt.

That dollar figure is a fantasy.

A safe, secure, and stable Iraqi representative constitutional republic was accomplished. Obama gave that away.

The only way to reduce the national debt is to grow the economy at 4%. Supply side economics which is now being implemented and entitlement reform are necessary.

What you say is true. But after we pulled our forces out and we stationed many of them in countries close by. ISIS came down from Syria to attack Iraq, Iraq asked us for air power against them and Obama refused, calling them Jr. Varsity playing soldier. Even after they captured the first city and tried to be as brutal as they could, chopping heads off and massacring many to scare the people and defenders and went from town to town doing the same, Obama refused to help with air power. Time after time he allowed them to get on that desert highway in long caravans and did nothing to stop them. Not until American heads came off and public pressure forced him to do something. The something was very little for a long time. He micro managed the attacks and pilots weren't allowed to hit most of their targets. You have to know Bush would have never let ISIS take over almost half of Iraq that Americans fought and died to liberate, just to give it back up to ISIS. So yes, I blame Obama for allowing ISIS to do what they did.

Yes, and a further effect of Obama’s colossal blunder was the purge of all the competent Sunni military commanders “directed” by Iran. That’s the reason why the Iraqi army performed so poorly during the ISIS invasion of Iraq. Thanks Obama.

As much as you are eager to blame Obama, can you refute the facts that Bush signed a Status of Forces Agreement that specified a complete withdrawal of US forces from Iraqi territory by December 31, 2011, and that leaving a residual force was opposed by the US administration, Congress, and the Pentagon when the Iraqi Parliament refused to immunizie US troops against Iraqi prosecution?

Facts can be very inconvenient for anyone with an agenda that does not comport with reality.

ISIS were sitting ducts while traveling on those desert highways, with no place to hide. Air power could have wiped them out in hours, like Bush Sr. did to Iraqi forces as they left Kuwait in the highway of death. But Obama refused to do it. He all but waited till the last part of his second term to get serious at destroying ISIS, but by then, they were buried in those cities and air power killed a lot of civilians that need not die, if he had attacked their caravans on the open highway going from city to city as Bush Sr. did.

The SOFA was always meant to be renegotiated. It was specifically Biden’s job to do so. Obama’s colossal failure is inexcusable.

Prove it. It was NOT meant to be renegotiated. Why write it that way if it was not written correctly?

There's one thing I can safely say about the war in Iraq. It was a global intelligence disaster.

GOP would have gone ape-**** if Obama left 10,000 troops in Iraq under their legal jurisdiction.

Your claim that Bush signed a flawed SOFA begs the question of Bush, "Why would you do that?"

When did Bus say that his agreement was "meant to be renegotiated?"

Why would you want US military personnel to be subject to Iraqi criminal prosecution as the Iraqi parliament demanded?
