Looks like some states have slimmed down and will have healthier and longer lives, and yet some states the pork bellies are running wild, guess which states ?

Slimmed down implies a change over time. Try again to make sense.

High %body fat suggests insulin resistance (bloated fat cells resistant to insulin because they physically have zero space to store any more calories).

Good immune system function is essential in spotting occasional malignant cells before they multiply into full blown cancers.

Diabetes (high blood glucose due to insulin resistance) disrupts many organ systems, especially the immune system resulting in failure to detect and eliminate rogue (cancerous) cells at early stages resulting into metastasis (cancer spread) and eventual host death.

Exercise is also important, however, starting on such a fitness program is difficult for people of high %body fat/ BMI due to inertia from previous sedentary lifestyle as well as mental road blocks to exercise.

However, with patience and determination, one is able to build up good muscle to improve one's metabolic rate, which would improve one's productivity rate as well as achieve optimal %body fat levels (and in the long run , reduce stress levels(which are in itself carcinogenic)) for a happier and healthier life with little need if any for the seeking of any doctor or medical center based help.
