    I'm straight, or a Lesbian in a man's body...
    IDK, life is great.
But I'm from Soho and I'm straight.

I'm sure the LGBT community's heard of Soho in the UK.
    :) life.

I don't care what they want to do, but I'm not going to go along with it just because it sends them into a rage.

So apathy of their sex life means you'd still have LGBT friends then.

    Funny thing.

Reasonable people of all backgrounds, beliefs, and lifestyles get along with each other.

It's the unreasonable ones of all backgrounds, beliefs, and lifestyles who cause trouble for the rest.

My wife's brother is gay. I've had gay friends.

No one cares who you sleep with, we just wish people would A) stop wrapping their entire identity on who they sleep with and B) stop trying to put people in jail for saying "he or she"

No one's putting anyone in jail over something so stupid.
My Transgender Police friend who I trust/is good people gives sound legal advise and would be the first person to agree.
So what are your thoughts on Pride?
To me, Pride is one of the funnest days of the year in Soho.

Yes there are now laws where you can be jailed/sued for not using the right pronouns. Of course no one knows how many there are. Dozens at least.

    https://www.dailywire.com/news/22091/california-law-allows-prison-using-wrong-gender-ryan-saavedra

    Canada too.

    http://dailycaller.com/2017/06/16/canada-passes-law-criminalizing-use-of-wrong-gender-pronouns/

I'm not sure why your sexuality is something to be proud of. I don't throw a party because I'm heterosexual.

The UK has plenty of it's own thought crimes going on. Speaking out against Islam, for example.

Different topic, same methodology from the same type of people.

    British people are Muslim too.
Why would we let anyone into this country that wishes Muslims harm?

And no, I don't think requiring people to call someone a woman because they put on a dress is a "sensitivity" issue.

Sure, because you've been taught not to question the inevitable strife you are going to face, and not allowed to do so if the programming didn't take.

Why would you let ISIS members return from jihad back into your country and then put them on government support.

You've been conditioned to accept it.

So what if all of a sudden everyone at your hospital called you M'am and treated you like a woman and then could dictate your health, wouldn't you be horrified these people were free to do so no matter how many times you corrected them?

Sure, because the reality is I'm a man and can prove it.

If you look down and see a penis, having people call you a woman isn't going to fix your problem, dress or no.

I guess some broke ass man's going to dress up as a woman and wait to get called Sir so he can take them to court; while having a buddy film the guy getting called Sir.
Then I guess he'd have to prove if he's Trans or a guy in a dress looking to get pay out. IDK

I don't care why they do it.

When someone thinks they're a dog, or they'd be better off having their arms and legs chopped off, they don't get better by agreeing with them.

    Reality is reality.

Rejection of reality is not healthy. Agreeing with someone rejecting reality is even more unhealthy.

There is a Soho in Manhattan, New York City,
As well as a Brighton, though not Manhattan, N.Y.C.

" Under a new California law, those who work in health care who use the wrong gender pronoun when referring to a transgender patient could face prison time."

"The new law, signed last week by California Gov. Jerry Brown, will punish any health care worker who “willfully and repeatedly” does not use the “preferred name or pronouns” of transgender patients, Fox News reports."

    Later, it says possibly,
As much as I stand for Civil Rights and equality, this is pure Rubbish and ineffable twaddle.

But they'd be incorrect, if he is indeed a male. Further, people mispronounce my name all the time, but I don't spend my life angsting about it and/or correcting people.

You think the law is, or the possibility is? Remember we're talking about California.

I had a custom as a wee lad and still do, if I saw a name that I had no idea how to pronounce, I woupd ask that person how, it made many people happy and said I was a good lad for it.

I still do that and people like it.

And if a person wants to be addressed in whatever manner they prefer, barring some excessive title or profanity,
    I will.
