Why Did JFK create The Navy Seals?

We prolly couldnt stop all the drugs... but we could certainly stop much of the crime, violence and corruption associated with smuggling them by halting the drug war. But, as you say, this would cost our government lots of money, both in revenue collected for the drug war and in black money made by running the drugs through it.

Additionally, this would endanger the weapons and human trafficking that the fog of war of the drug war is often used to obfuscate, and that would be unacceptable to certain of our more elite folks...

 

JF Kennedy created the Navy Seals. The UD aka Frogmen were not the same as the Seals. Seals were created to defend th nation against the rogue government Kennedy say taking over the nation aka ' Secret Society'.
Most Seals today probably don't even have the same oath they had started with.
And 10 years ago it was all over the web with simple search, now you can't find it anywhere.

From team leader to team leader they were to have a plan in effect to protect us from what we seem to have now.

 

I was talking about the oath! You can't find the Seal Team Oath anywhere now, and if you do I bet the rogue government part is not in it anymore.

Today’s SEALs embody in a single force the heritage, missions, capabilities, and combat lessons-learned of five daring groups that no longer exist but were crucial to Allied Victory in World War II and the conflict in Korea. These were (Army) Scouts and (Navy) Raiders; Naval Combat Demolition Units (NCDUs), Office of Strategic Services Operational Swimmers, Navy Underwater Demolition Teams (UDTs), and Motor Torpedo Boat Squadrons.
These varied groups trained in the 1940s for urgent national security requirements, saw combat in Europe, North Africa, and the Pacific, but mostly disbanded after World War II. However, The UDTs were called upon again and expanded quickly for the Korean War in 1950. Exercising great ingenuity and courage, these special maritime units devised and executed with relatively few casualties many of the missions, tactics, techniques and procedures that SEALs still perform today.
