Which is why Justice had to jump through extra hoops to execute the warrant. And Cohen's history DOES make a difference in
getting a judge to sign off on the warrant. If Cohen had a reasonably clean past, your argument would carry more weight, but
given his past associations with very shady partners (not clients) for you to assume that this is just about Trump is not a supported assumption.

I should just listen to anonymous guy with zero credibility who names himself after a fictional troll instead of multiple long-standing career justice officials and judges.

Exactly how was that? Where is the letter written by Clinton's lawyers asking for that?

So you're arguing that the actions taken against Cohen was not just about Trump.

So why is it unreasonable for Trump to seek to separate privileged information unrelated to their investigation into Cohen?

Because a crime was never found, while you cowardly change the subject.

All he knows is off topic. He doesn't realize this forum is about "actual topics".

And that's exactly why your posts and your "don't believe your eyes and common sense, put your faith blindly in the integrity and infallibility of swamp creatures" arguments are treated as nothing more than a comic relief

There is already a group of government officials dedicated to doing just that. The taint team has the same legal obligation to uphold the attorney client privilege

Give me one example of how Trump's attorney client privilege was violated.

Why do you think our Founding Fathers created the 4th Amendment?

Why do you think the courts are petitioned to rule on cases involving unreasonable search and seizure, and the principle of attorney/client privilege exists?

Given your extreme bias, your lack of credibility on this subject is understandable.

No one is above the law; https://www.thedailybeast.com/micha...no-such-thing-as-consigliere-client-privilege, and if something is found out about Trump along the way, that's on Cohen and Trump. If they were too stupid not to destroy any incriminating evidence in Cohen's office, that isn't suddenly a pretext to automatically protecting Trump through a court filing. Trump is not above the law in this case either if evidence is exposed.

I didn't say it was unreasonable for Trump's lawyers to make a motion - I was just pointing out that given Cohen's history, a raid of this type wasn't unreasonable.

It doesn't protect things in the attorney's office; http://www.theamericanconservative....id-did-not-violate-attorney-client-privilege/ You people need to get a hold of yourself. Throwing spaghetti up against the wall isn't going to change things for you.

The entire documentation covered by attorney client privilege has being seized and is currently in other people's hands Duh

Now give me an example of no knock FBI raids in cases of a misstatement on a home equity application or FEC violation. Take your time, do your research, hire a paralegal if you must. ;)

Have I argued Trump is above the law?

The dog whistle from Beast notwithstanding, it is not unreasonable for attorneys to seek a court ruling when the potential for violating a citizens rights exists.

In this case there is no potential. Evidence already exists that Cohen is doing Trump's dirty work for him. There is no privilege in this case; http://www.theamericanconservative....id-did-not-violate-attorney-client-privilege/
