"The woman had been admitted to hospital as part of a detox programme. "She wanted to leave and when I said no, she smashed a piece of plastic and put the sharp piece to my neck. It was terrifying."

[IMG] If you'd said 'yes' she wouldn't have attacked you would she, you stupid moo! :wall: :wall:

Yes, but I mean when they ask for it? This reminds me of a case reported in my local rag a few years ago: the usual scenario in every town centre in the land on a weekend - drunks everywhere, falling over each other to punch each others lights out. There was an ambulance crew dealing with one of them, but respect where it's due, although the female of the pair was trying to coax him into the ambulance he kept telling her 'No, I'll be okay when I've sobered up a bit.' But believe it or believe it not, she persisted to the point of trying to pick him up. whereupon after a couple of minutes of her struggling and he protesting, he bopped her one, and she fell over, hitting her shoulder on the kerb. Long story short - the male medic loaded her into the vehicle, strapped her down, and . . . yes, you've guessed right - took her to A&E in it.

There are members of the general public that are not nice, they don't give a flying fcuk about others and they get away with it....this kindda crap happens in schools...sporting events...railway stations...JD Sports...Tesco Metro....I mean what was the point of the article?
Do we need these sort of people...no
Can we just take them out and shoot them...no
    Can we sterilise chavs...no
Can we write stiff letters to the Times complaining...yes
Can the BBC get write pointless articles...yes
    Does it help...no

To highlight how common such violent attacks are against all sorts of people and the challenge the scum who believe it’s perfectly acceptable and a bit of a joke to assault someone who is trying to help you (ironically, given the nature of the OP).

Absolutely! Just another article in a long line of articles saying exactly the same thing about exactly the same thing....

Well maybe you should stop accepting such thuggery as inevitable (even acceptable) and actually speak out against it and the people who promote it (like the OP).

The BBC, indeed every news outlet in the country has been writting articles akin to Cerb's or years and years and years and....guess what....yup they all shoved a spike up the collective anuses of the British population to move against the pisshead chavs and slappers of the UK. Actually they didn't but let us not dispair for I could become a vigilante and roam the streets in cape and mask hounding the chavs and rounding up slappers, cleaning up the streets and righting societies wrongs...In hushed tones people will speak of me, my name will strike fear into the hearts of the nations pissed thuggish wankers....
If you have a problem, if no one else can help and if you can find him....maybe you can hire....the Scotsman..:machinegun:

If only? They 'get away with it' because it's easier for the relevant authorities to let them? The thing is that decent individuals are being outnumbered by the scum classes. Time for a cull methinks.

    From the link

"The accused was shouting ‘f**k off,’ ‘get to f***,’ and ‘leave me alone.’'

It was at that point that she should've been wheeled out of A&E, deposited on the outer limits of the hospital grounds, and just dumped there . . . after all, it was what she asked for? I have to say that the hospital staff do bring it upon themselves sometimes.
