    * Male powerbrokers are not powerbrokers because they are men but because they chose to become powerbrokers.
    * With "diversity quotas", Whites, Asians and men actually are, indirectly, "not allowed" to apply to Universities anymore. Additionally, women actually dominate universities.
    * The people with money and power at Wall Street are not where they are because of their race and gender, but because they fought hard to get where they are.

You seem to think that the moment a White boy is born he is handed a phD in engineering, a gigantic pay-check, a fat house, a fast car and a hot wife "just like that".

    Yes they have changed.

Women are less happy now than they were before.

Translation: Because of racism in the past, I advocate flipping the scales and having an equal amount of racism the other way for hundreds of years.

Sorry, but I disagree with your "logic". It's racist and genderist. If you want equality in the workplace, stop institutionalizing racism.

I have a better idea for these brats; Why don't they start their own company and try to build it on "diversity" and hire people to represent every single demographic group there is? :D

Gender and diversity studies faculty lunchroom be like:

That's the problem now; they have and their businesses failed. Now they have to look for jobs.

I thought their problem was that they had exactly 50:50 representation, but then they had one crippled, lesbian, transwoman from Kazakhstan and one crippled, lesbian, transwoman from Tajikistan applying for the same job and now they are stuck with their calculation of which one is more oppressed and therefore have no idea whom to hire and in fear of being labelled "racist" they decided to shut down their business.

Nah, they got subsidies from the State for their "awesome work to fight oppression" and could now give every employee - no matter merit, skill, job, contribution or working hours - a monthly salary of a bazillion dollars. Unluckily, the dollar was inflated as a result and America is now a Third World country and everyone starved to death. :woot:

"...But, hey! At least we have diversity!" :winner:

If we flipped the scales we would deny all. white males access the way we did blacks and women. It’s called leveling the playing field

The same way women “chose” to to be denied access to Harvard. The same way women “chose “ not to be able toget loans , the same way women “chose “not to be allowed on the trading floor.etc.yep, it’ was all choice
What makes you say something so ridiculous like whites, Asians and men are indirectly not allowed to apply to universities anymore. And you wonder why I don’t believe you went to college. No one could say anything that ridiculous and be taken seriously
I realize now that you were just an extremist with all your silly all or nothing logic. I won’t even waste my time responding to the Wall Street or white boy with a PhD comment, they’re too childish

We are talking about the present. No one is denying that there were obstacles for minorities and women in the past.

The "diversity quotas" currently in place means that sometimes people with high SAT scores will have to leave place for people with lower SAT scores due to being of the "wrong race"; since men have no "minority status", they are very prone to this "anti-discriminatory discrimination" and since Asians are a "high achieving minority" they will have to make place for "less achieving minorities" such as Blacks and Latinos. It is how quotas play out in reality, you know. They may seem all cutesy-cute in theory, but when put into practice, they cause nothing but misery.

    See for example; https://www.nytimes.com/2017/08/02/us/affirmative-action-battle-has-a-new-focus-asian-americans.html

I guess in your world this never happens because quotas are sooo good because all that matters to you is colour. That is how you judge people and institituions, for how "colourful" they are.

You're welcome to look it up yourself.

Women are less happy than they've ever been since they started tracking it.

It is actually true that the psychological health of women is dropping and one would think that would be of a Feminist's primary concern. If you don't care, it is - at least - a great opportunity to pick up yet another problem that can be blamed on men. :D

That's definitely a more entertaining paraphrase than the one she tried.

"Women are happier cuz they're not married".

    Data suggests otherwise.

There is always going to be some level of unhappiness. The point is women get to choose how to be unhappy. lol
    AND...change their situation accordingly.

Are you saying that women can actually change their situation by themsleves? I see you have internalised some cis-white-male-misogyny here, sister. Don't you know that women are OPPRESSED? They cannot change their situation just like that because the ******n PATRIARCHY is not allowing them to! OMG, like seriously... Seriously... Only a privileged, White girl could be so ignorant to say something ignorant like this! I mean, yeaaaah women have choice thanks to their Feminist sisters, but, saying there is NO oppression stopping women from changing their life and that they are being in complete control of their situation is just MISOGYNISTIC. 'Cause if, like, women could change their situation for reals, then we would have 50:50 representation everywhere in society. Buuuuuut, we DON'T. Which means you are just one of those privileged, White, cis-girls who has internalised all misogyny and is just scared of not getting any boys if you say you is a Feminist.

WOMEN DON'T HAVE CONTROL OF THEIR SITUATION AND THEY DON'T HAVE CHOICE, IF THEY DID, THEN THERE WOULD BE NO FEMINISM!

Sure. It's just that it's never been lower despite how happy women are told they should be now.
