    Still no objection, no argument.

I hope you are 13-14 and still have time to learn some basics of an intelligent conversation, though many believers in evolution have a mentality of an 8th grader even in a quite old age, and many of them have never opened neither "Origin of Species'' nor the second part, "the Decent of the Man" and don't even know about the existence of the second part where Darwin complains that only Christianity stands on the way of the right thing which should be done - elimination of lower races.

Your hatred towards Xty does not make you a higher race, or more scientific, or more intelligent than Xns, in spite of all institution of learning telling you the opposite.

Learning is not repeating what you are told.

The conundrum here being that an educated and open mind is required to properly examine any argument for intellectual content. In the case of Creationist vs, Evolutionist most who accept the religious creation myth must ignore or dismiss evolution in order to maintain belief in deeply held belief.

The idea is that in an intelligent conversation if you say something you should point to a logic and facts which make you think that what you said is true.

You have to prove that religious creation is a myth.

You have to prove that Xns cannot believe in evolution, while I pointed to the fact that the Pope believes in evolution.

You have to prove that if questions to evolution are asked for the sake of a deep religious beliefs or for any other reason they should not be answered.

You have to answer why a Creationist cannot say exactly the same as you did: “The conundrum here being that an educated and open mind is required to properly examine any argument for intellectual content. In the case of Creationist vs, Evolutionist most who accept the religious, never observed or witnessed myth about new species appearing from old ones must ignore or dismiss Creation in order to maintain belief in deeply held belief” .

Saying "because intelligent person knows it is true" only proves that you are not intelligent (google logical fallacies).

Intellect to me is a combination of knowledge and rational thought used in evaluation of situation or problem. In this instance my education leads me to understand that the creation story of Biblical fame must inherently be inaccurate due to my personal observations, experiment and scientific knowledge accumulated by thousands of professionals across multiple fields. The scientific explanations of both universal and cosmological creation as well as what led to my being here seem to be the best explanation at this point and are backed by tangible data as well as physical evidence.
For these and other reasons I must prefer the natural explanation above the supernatural, this is NOT an attack on the creation story or the religion that it comes from nor an attack on you or any other Christian. It is my opinion based on the criteria I need to be convinced something is accurate.

Man just got here and Earth has always had extreme weather. We are along for the ride on an ever changing planet. People like you seem to think the earth should just stop doing what it's always done now that we are here and you are going to be dissapointed. I think what we are seeing here is a spoiled generation who parents never told them " the world doesn't revolve around you". They actually seem to think it in fact does.

Well, let's see then. Dead kids in cars. Sounds a lot like parental abuse. Did the weather shut the kids in the car, roll the windows up and lock them in? Are "massive storms" unique to just now? I mean, hurricanes and cyclones have been lashing the world endlessly. And just now you are concerned? Ask why folks move to the beach instead. If you want to understand the death count, ask why folks put themselves in harms way in the first place. Great example, all those nice folks in Hawaii that just now discovered that they live on a volcano. Of course the volcanos were there first, so is it just "stupid folks" who didn't understand that who put themselves in harms way to begin with? How about folks who live in NO? Katrina didn't kill them, the Corp of Engineers and the corrupt democrats of LA killed their own residents by allowing them to live under sea level, populated places behind decrepit sea walls, dykes, etc.

As for "incredible temp increases", I am unclear that you actually understand this. .7C. In over 150 years. That's "incredible". Laughable. As for "etc...etc.." do tell. Nothing that you've identified so far is anything but the fake news that you deride. One wonders why you are unable to see that for yourself?

So, you make the assertion that we must have an open mind, and the very next sentence you show how closed yours then is. Fun to watch. My caution is to remind that as we "watch" evolution, mankind are actively "creating" things, right? It seems intellectually dishonest to assert otherwise. If mankind "creates" and modifies life, is that evolution?

And I think what we have here is someone who does not quite grasp the concept of time. Yes the Earth goes through climate changes, these usually transpire over many decades or centuries if not thousands of years. In fact we should be entering a cooling phase according to axial tilt and orbital dynamics....but we are not.

    How do you explain that?

Oh! The amount required to b,each coral beyond recovery, release mega tonnes of methane to warm the planet rapidly. The kind that will destabilise our climate to affect crops. I like not havig to pay through the nose for food.

Time is your big factor in blaming man? Guess you don't know about the little ice age and the "summer that never was" and world wide famines and glaciers swallowing up towns in Europe. All well before industrialization. Oh and then there's the forty year drought that destroyed the anasazi culture to consider.

This comment obviously lacks context. And that was the point. Where is the context? Why not simply point out that the reason for these incidents costing more is 1) folks are insured more than in the past, 2) more folks are directly in harms way that are also now insured, and 3) the cost of rebuilding is significantly higher now than in the past.

Ignoring these fundamental economic facts is dishonest to the conversation. Blaming then AGW for these costs is also ridiculous on the merits.

But to get you to spend your hard earned income to support the carbon markets, you have to believe in this...... It's like church without the redemption...

    Straw man

No one has claimed that C02 is a pollutant because it's reaching toxic levels in the atmosphere

You might want to look up what the words toxic and pollutant actually mean.

The title off this thread hit me as funny as it relate to the crew of Appolo thirteen at least.
