    You're wrong. What NK can become is a country like China. Only one party allowed, following communist ideology, but blending it with capitalism and prosperity. Viet Nam is doing it too. You don't see the people rising up and overthrowing either of those countries' governments, and you wouldn't see it in NK either.

    The USS Carl Vinson just paid a friendly visit to Da Nang, Viet Nam, btw. Could this be the future with NK?

    Not talking about Viet Nam, It was united by a small police action where the police had to run home.

    North Korea is run by a murderous Dynastic "cult of personality" brutal dictatorship. I will acknowledge that some sort of renaissance within a nuke free NK with Kim as its Dear Leader is a possibility. OTOH, its about the same Probability as the winning the powerball .

    Kim is being played beautifully. The fear of incineration focused his mind and then flattery at what a great leader he could be did the rest. He was being played from every direction and it will work.

    The loss of his key military advisors is an excellent clue of where he's headed. They should be very nervous.

    If the Vietnam War was a police action, what was the Iraq War or the war in Afghanistan ?

    A tailgate party at Limbaugh Field on a Sunday ?

    It might have been for the German troops in Afghanistan who refused to go outside of the wire.

    I agree. And for those of us who followed Trump's Apprentice series on TV, it's easy to imagine how that video was created. Most likely, Trump set a goal to some of his staff to create a video selling the advantages of having peace & prosperity through cooperation between NK and the USA. If it was like The Apprentice, he probably had various teams working on it so that he could review each video and choose the best one.

    Anyway, it was a very creative way to get the point across. Great job, in opening a door to world peace, but there's certainly lot's more work to be done. One step at a time. :)

    Kim has seen little outside of his home county except a couple of short visits to China. He probably has little idea of what the potential of what his country could achieve. This video is genius. It gives him some perspective of what can be. His people are suffering. He has the chance to be the greatest leader in their history. If he can bring jobs and prosperity to them, he will be loved by his people. His past blackmail schemes are small potatoes compared to what this deal has to offer. It can offer sustained growth and a much higher standard of living. All he has to do is play it straight and his country will prosper. Only a visionary like Trump could envision and sell a deal like this. It is early in the process but could easily be a win/win for both sides.
