Abolishment of ICE is not a partisan issue

It’s a human rights issue that comes with touching ones conscience. Most people are good people, but what these ICE agents are doing is wrong.

Separation of children is wrong (and let’s not compare this to the American citizen equivalent, as children in that case still get to visit their parents).

Mass deportation is wrong, when these people are seeking asylum. Those born here is lucky to not be born into war torn or impoverished countries. Be in their shoes, visit these countries, then tell me you advocate for mass deportation.

Questioning people boarding buses is wrong. Even I have the right to refuse to answer such a ridiculously timed question, let alone people who are of Hispanic origin. This is called profiling. You have seen these agents profiling people at bus stops in Maine for example.

Abolishment of ICE is not a partisan issue. It’s not advocating for open borders, and it’s not advocating for disadvantaging law enforcement. It’s overthrowing an organization that has become corrupt and drunk with power. Our nation has overthrown such organizations before, it can and will again.

 

Ah, we will just call them something else, like law enforcement.

You know I actually agree with this. And I hate to admit this but members of my party don't have the courage and conviction to run in 2018 and 2020 on abolishing ice. I'm afraid the brave souls on the left are going to have to do the right thing and make this one of their main campaign issues.

 

If you abolish ICE then we would rely on the army instead. The same rules would apply since ICE and the military do not make policy.

There it is ... No DACA amnesty, no pathways to citizenship either. Just eliminate enforcement. No need to fulfill pledges they made disingenuously. Perfect ... so long as you live in a sanctuary where documents aren't required to work, enroll in school, or receive social benefits ... and Oh! yeah, only if Dems actually fulfill their pledge.

 

You know, ICE must have tens of 1,000's of ongoing investigations ... Dems plead with Trump to just "let it go" ... zero tolerance. Now Dems essentially want to fire ICE and end all of it's investigations. Dems had a word for that, back when Comey was freelancing with NYT, working as a cub news reporter.

Abolishing ICE is just another "progressive" thrust to getting open borders.

The law for separating children was actually created so that children crossing the border could be removed from the influence of smugglers and child traffickers claiming to be parents, so the children would speak freely and so the relationship with the "parents" could be verified.

But none of this is about children or concern over people, its just another prog attempt at trying to get open borders so the USA can be flooded with unskilled, uneducated people who will vote for the progs.

 

The dems continue to move to the left fringe. Why stop with ICE, abolish the FBI, the sheriffs, the police, the border patrol, the state troopers, and the military. Then open all the jail cells. The reason we shouldn't abolish any of the above also applies to why we shouldn't abolish ICE.

The democrat party is a child's party at this point. All they have are childish argumemts based on emotion and zero adult solutions that will actually solve problems.

Supporting ICE is supporting inhumane tactics.

I've always thought profiling is a useful tool.

Separating the children from the parents happens to be the law. You should advocate for changing the law not abolishing the agency responsible for enforcing the law.

 

Same as that the death penalty is wrong, or mass executions are wrong. Deportation should be avoided as much as possible, and put a limit on how many ICE can deport.

Oh yeah, and take away their powe to make immigration raids.
