Star James Woods who has come out in recent years as a staunch conservative voice in Hollywood to no surprise has been dropped by his agent simply due to his political views.

Before you try to paint this man as a dumb ass for picking Donald Trump and following conservative politics ..think again...James Woods is one of the smartest people in Hollywood who has an IQ over 160.

He has been an awesome actor, one of my favorites throughout the years. Although all of his movies and acting was great...my favorite was "Diggstown" because of his great ability at comedic sarcasm. I never get tired of watching it.
This is a list of his starring roles. Do yourself a favor and indulge

More than any movie you ever made. But now you're measuring success by the size of a man's wallet?

And? If he doesn't want to represent him anymore, that's his right.

You made it clear that's exactly how you are measuring his success.

And is IQ is at Genius level. I know I know, money is more important.

"they have that right" is not a logical response to "agent quits over client's ideology". It does not follow because no one suggested or implied the agent didn't have that right.

a single statement can tick numerous logical fallacy boxes.

yes, the poster also invented something to argue against/refute versus commenting on the actual topic

Then don't act like James Woods is some kind of victim here. He can easily get another agent and/or he can just represent himself.

how is relating the fact that your agent dropped you because of your politics being a 'victim'.

please tell me how stiff your upper lip would be if your employer fired because you spoke out against Obama, abortion or the 2nd Amendment.... lol. apoplectic seizures. Twitter and Facebook don't have enough room on their servers to handle your rants. you know it, I know it.

He was probably dropped because he has been outed as a sexual predator. He tried to proposition an underage actress about 20 years ago. When she informed him of her age (16), he replied, "Even better". I'm guessing that's why he was dropped. If this was truly political he wouldn't have been allowed to have the brilliant career that he has had. I counted myself as one of his fans; my favorite movie of all time is "Once Upon a Time in America". He has made many movies that I have loved, but after this I can no longer look at him in the same way.

I have heard some conservative actors complain about being blacklisted by Hollywood. But all those actors have worked for many years and done well for themselves. I'm sure there are many directors and producers who won't hire certain performers because they are difficult on-set or they are just plain a-holes, but I see no evidence of a systematic snubbing of conservative actors.

If they feel so marginalized, why don't they make their own movies. There has been a surge of conservative-themed movies released in recent years, and some of them have done quite well at the box office. I'm sure Woods can snag a part in "Left Behind, Part 29".

LOL, he lays out snowflake libs daily.

“It’s the 4th of July and I’m feeling patriotic,” Kaplan wrote, according to the Woods-tweeted image. “I don’t want to represent you anymore. I mean I can go on a rant but you know what I’d say.”

Responded Woods, “Dear Ken, I don’t actually. I was thinking if you’re patriotic, you would appreciate free speech and one’s right to think as an individual. Be that as it may, I want to thank you for all your hard work and devotion on my behalf. Be well.”

I'll argue against her assertion that Woods is 'playing the victim' all day long. it is not misleading to make her live up to her own book of rules. (Rules For Radicals, rule #4, by the way)
