Wonder if Trump was wearing a mask when Stormy snaked his fat ass?

    Oh well.

This law would skirt “freedom of expression” precedents from past Supreme Court cases, so I am skeptical it would survive a challenge.

No, we know laws don't stop crime.

That's why we'll give ya 15 years if you try to hide your identity while committing a crime.

Gonna have to hang up those masks.

And actually no, there is plenty of precedent already with existing "unmasking" laws.

Now antifa will have to "bash the fash" without their cobra commander ISIS gear on. Oh noes.

Fifteen years for assault with telescoping batons, brass knuckles, knives, pepper spay, bricks, bats, etc. all while disguised and
    hidden from public identification.
Why is Antifa immune from prosecution for their crimes which would brand any other group as criminals and terrorists?

Hell yes! The cowardly city administration in places like Portland, Oregon is never going to do their jobs and crack down on
the savage little thugs that run free in their streets.

    I generally agree with you.

I especially can't see how someone could support hate crime legislation, yet oppose this mask amendment. Conversely though, there are some legitimate arguments being made here in favor of this proposed masking amendment, so I'll continue to follow this thread with an open mind.

(I'd probably have your back as King Webby. Queen Libby would also be a bit of a hardass ;) )

If the law was written as you’re pretending it is, I’d agree

Antifa, and you know exactly who they are, destroy buildings and riot and attack anyone that has a message different than theirs. They are the perfect definition of a terrorist organization and should be shut down and thrown in prison for their terrorism. All you have to do is watch their videos.

There are times when it is reasonable to be in public in disguise: Mardi Gras, Halloween, and perhaps some other events.

Here's a source for loking at existing state laws.Georgia for example

    Title 16 - Crimes and Offenses,16-11-38.
    (a) A person is guilty when he wears a mask, hood, or device by which any portion of the face is so hidden, concealed, or covered as to conceal the identity of the wearer and is upon any public way or public property or upon the private property of another without the written permission of the owner or occupier of the property to do so.

    (b) This Code section shall not apply to: (1) A person wearing a traditional holiday costume on the occasion of the holiday; (2) A person lawfully engaged in trade and employment or in a sporting activity where a mask is worn for the purpose of ensuring the physical safety of the wearer, or because of the nature of the occupation, trade, or profession, or sporting activity; (3) A person using a mask in a theatrical production including use in Mardi gras celebrations and masquerade balls; or (4) A person wearing a gas mask prescribed in emergency management drills and exercises or emergencies.

Antifa arrested for wearing masks at Nazi rally in Georgia
Police officers arrived before the rally began and approached a group of about 50 anti-fascist protesters. They demanded the protesters remove their masks or face arrest. The officers — who wore bulletproof vests and helmets, and carried semi-automatic rifles — cornered the anti-fascist protesters, then grabbed those who were still masked, tossing them to the ground and handcuffing them.

Look, I know that some of the anti-fascist folks like to dress up and they cause a little damage to make some noise. And I appreciate the fact that you don't like them standing up to the neo-nazi and KKK guys.

I also appreciate the fact that when you get your worldview from RW propaganda, you'll think that antifa are the most dangerous thing since since the Chicago gangs of the prohibition era.

But let's put it into perspective. The folks who been involved in the antifa thing, whatever it is, have never been involved in killing a single person, that I've found.

If you are really worried about dangerous gangs, like you pretend to be, shouldn't you be more worried about the neo-nazi and KKK types you're trying to protect? They have long histories of not just damage, but killing lots of folks.

Or even gangs like MS-13. At least those really are bad, murderous guys.

Not while wearing a mask. It's against Georgia state law.

By your standards, literally anyone that disagrees with the progressive agenda is a neo nazi or in the KKK. People are sick of their ****. Either the authorities handle it, or the people will. The antifa fairies better hope it's the authorities.

Don't you get tired of humiliating yourself day after day after day? Man, Soros must really pay well for you to endure it

And btw, I see you've been on here posting all day (again). lol.

Absolute nonsense. I've said nothing to give you cause to claim those are "my standards".

But if you want to know *my* standards for calling out someone as a fascist or racist, I'll be happy to refer folks to the thread yesterday for such standards.

You remember, the one where I repeatedly showed you the statements calling for a fascist, white supremacist America, which you defended and would not condemn.

I appreciate that you don't like the antifa guys standing up to your neo-nazi, fascist, and racist pals.

I wish. But thank you for the compliment that my posting is of such high standards you believe I'm a professional who could be paid for it. I appreciate it. However, I cannot say the same for you. I would never think someone would pay you for what you post.

Ending with ad homs. How many times have you written about how many posts I have? And at the same time lecturing people about being off topic.

    Classic RW hypocrisy.

All I've read from you in the past two days is 'nazi', 'racist', 'fascist'. Must be the same daily talking points. Come up with some new material.

I don't like anyone that goes out harassing people, destroying property, and hiding their faces cause they're too ***** to show them.

Trust me, it's no compliment. Actually it's the opposite. You post the same talking point garbage 30 times a day. I assume you had to get paid to do something that mindless.

Yeah, I find it funny how someone with no job goes on lecturing people about how the country should be.

I’m under the impression that this is a New York Jewish lawyer who did the typical move to Florida for retirement to take advantage of the low tax policies he voted against his entire life in New York.

    It’s like an actual meme.

    Thanks for sharing your opinion.

My opinion is that your record of defending statements that America should be fascist and white supremacist gives you zero credibility to tell anyone how the country should be.

Quote me defending those things. Serious question, do you have some form of dementia? I spent a decade working with dementia patients, and you share many similar characteristics. May want to look into Aricept
