Don't be cute. You know I'm speaking in generalities, as you generalize against Trump supporters.

No, it's Anglophobia that's fashionable, and that's been demonstrated repeatedly by the terrorist attacks in the Britain.

More leftist hyperbole. People are responding to free speech with more free speech and will be judged according to their speech.

If I didn't know so many Brits and had to judge them by that recent protest I would, like many others, think they were irredeemably stupid and quite uninformed. But I know from experience that's not the case. I believe at least 52% of Brits to be quite intelligent but still, because of the British media, largely uninformed.

Why would you want to walk through there with an "I love Trump" sign?

Just leave them alone. They aren't hurting anyone.
    They aren't hurting you.

I don't care if you are a snowflake.

I'm from Anglia, and so are many muslims.
    You aren't.

If you don't like us, don't come here.
    No one will miss you.

How many Christian Americans sponsored terrorism in the UK, ****ing thousands.
You play the race card here mate, you will find we are a nation.

I wouldn't personally. The point is that leftists are intolerant.

    Yes and no.

    Yes they are. Intellectually.

But they haven't stopped the pro Trump rally.
And they aren't walking through the pro Trump rally with "Trump is gay" placards

They have their fun. You have your fun.
    Carry on.

It's a free country. We all know how to get on.

    It's a free country.
After these rallies left and right will sit next to each other and happily not speak politics.
Work together, play together, marry each other.

Muslims and Christians will sit next to each other and happily not speak religion. Work together, play together, marry each other.

    Live and let live.
If what I am doing is not hurting you, it's OK.

If you are too sensitive for the outside world, don't look.
Don't listen. Go somewhere else for the day.

Can’t you sing a better tune? Everything that offends your narrow views you sight as ‘leftist’ who places you firmly in the ranks of the far right, a fringe group which has little appeal to the American public. Further, there was only a 57.5 turnout for the election which is a very low number suggesting many Americans are not that interested in politics enough to cast their vote. Most people have a mixture of views, some of which lean to a conservatism ideology and some to a socialist view of politics. You have to take this on board in order to have a proper political debate; unfortunately you can only offer right wing sound bites which contribute absolutely nothing.

What? I am criticizing, not calling for them to be censored. That's what you leftists do.

There are nuts all along the spectrum, of course. But research "protesters at Trump rally." Then do the same for Sanders and Clinton. You will find that the overwhelming majority at every protest is leftist.

And yes, the left had indeed gone onto Trump rallies and tried to disrupt them. I'm sure it happened at a few Clinton rallies, but not to anywhere the same extent.

This follows naturally from the Left's primary goal, which is to wreck, rather than preserve, existing institutions.

    They literally can't help themselves.

You aren't arguing with a lefty now mate.
You are arguing with a Brit.
If lefty wishes to protest. No skin off my nose.

If that offends your "highly cultured sensibilities", that is no skin off my nose either.
    It's a free country.

Your sensibilities are as welcome here as theirs.

As far as I am aware we have only had the one Trump rally here.
I appreciate your points and recognise the truth in your words. But this is England.
    Land of the free.

    Feel free to protest.
These people were having a good time. No reason for concern.

I'm not concerned. I'm disgusted. As far as me protesting, I will always support the legally elected president.

But it should be. The alternative is to acquiesce in barbarism.

    Your barbarism. Someone else's barbarism.
Wait until I get barbaric. Then you will see acquiescence.

No one has denied that the UK is a nation, but you seem to think there is more "Islamophobia" than "Anglophobia", which is surprising given that you claim to live there.

Which 'race card' am I playing?

I've noticed that anyone who doesn't accept the official point of view in the UK, as put forward by the majority of the politicians and the BBC, are 'far right wing' or 'extreme right wing', but the terms far left wing or extreme let wing are seldom, if ever, uttered. What happened to the middle in Britain? Are they the ones who voted for Brexit, and are therefore 'extreme right wing' also?

If any European can get past the labels and speak to the issues I'd be very pleased but, instead, they wrap themselves in these political cliches, which only leads to their obvious fuzzy thinking.

I think you mentioned anglophobia, explicitly. Others here have gone for islamophobia.
When you target our muslims you will find that we prefer they to you.
That is where our loyalties lie.

Another poster claimed there was "Islamophobia" in Britain, a not unnatural response give their acts of terrorism. It would also be evident that Anglophobia is much stronger than Islamophobia, given that it is Muslims committing terrorist acts against the British people and not the reverse. Do you disagree?

Corbyn and Labour are routinely described as far left. Momentum.
Middle Britain are now described as "populist".

They aren't well represented in parliament in my opinion. Does middle Britain even vote?

British people bomb Islamic Jihadi's from the air. We shoot them dead in the street.
Muslims are committing terrorists acts against the British people, but then so are Catholics and Russian Orthodox's. So we don't really find differentiating by religion to be all that helpful a metric.

We recognise we are at war with some muslim nations and they have sympathisers living here in the UK. But by and large we don't accept that religion is the cause of this, only a common denominator.
If you say god told you to kill us, I don't really care what you say your religion is.

    Where is that? In Britain?

However, unlike Muslims, you do not target people indiscriminately, correct?

We bomb Muslims in a few countries and shoot them dead in the street right here.

I couldn't vouch for the discrimination used in our airstrikes, sorry.
We aren't exactly carpet bombing cities currently, but er... it's pretty random still.
Targetted or untargetted, what difference does that make to their friends and family?
    Brutally murdered is brutally murdered.

Just as those who kill us can justify their actions, so can we.
    Talk is cheap.

War is never good guys vs bad guys.
Both sides think they are good.

It is good guys vs good guys. That is the nature of war.
