How do we stop the violence in Chicago?

    Chicago seems to be out of control. How many people need to die before Americans take action? How do we stop the violence?

    Do we need to ban guns?

    Do we need to elect more Democrats?

    Do we need to get rid of the racist evil cops?

    Does Chicago need more illegal immigrants to help reduce the crime rate?

    Maybe the National Guard should be deployed or martial law declared?

    Should the city be bulldozed?

    I'm interested to see what suggestions PF can offer.

    YES WE NEED TO BAN GUNS!!!Chicago is not the most violent city in the USA based on deaths per 100,000 citizens,not even in the top 10.

    I know Democrats want to ban guns but most of them lie and say they don't. I give you props for honesty.

    Well the real question is what do you guys think should be done.

    Personally I don't know. Just because you know where the problem comes from doesn't mean you have a solution.

    How do you beat a culture that glorifies hate and crime?

    why do anything? Not my problem, so it's what people there need to deal with.

    Let the locals handle their local problems. They don't need me telling them what to do.

    In a BBC prog on this subject a few weeks ago it was reported that the vast majority of firearms action in Chicago is inter-gang related, so if they eventually all kill each other, that's okay isn't it?

    Giving people prospects for the future aren't in the Democrat handbook only handouts to keep them locked into bondage.

    I dont think trump can change the culture of violence and dispare in black chicago overnight

    But strong police action like stop and frisk could remove the worst offenders from the streets temporarily and put an end to the mass killings there

    Chicago is a prime example of what happens when the political pendulum stops swinging. Decades of uninterrupted democrat rule always results in Chicago. Much of California is headed this way too.

    Unfortunately Chicago is in many ways a lost cause and a form of segregation is indicated as the only viable option. Just as in most major cities here the black community allows violence to become standard fare and usually this leads to self segregation as non-blacks and business move away to avoid theft and destruction...Chicago has seen this become a city wide phenomenon infused with gang related gun violence and the only future I see is to let them Kill each other off and wait out the death they seem to need. Just stay out of the way so you don't become a victim.

    It seems that from what I've heard here, the Democrats that control these cities want the black people that live in them to kill each other off. They see Chicago as a lost cause.
