    "Not hardly", John Wayne.

    I prefer to remain "grounded".
Some decades ago, when flying became "No Fun",
I just decided not to fly. And I don't miss nothin'
But, KiwiLand has always had an allure for me.
    Even before the LOTR movies.

BTW the scenes with large gray stones in
brown hilly fields reminds me of the
Central California coast by Hearst castle.
Rainforests further north. 6 hour drive north from the Bay Area.
California is California (think classic, ancient myth) why travel across oceans?
And of course we have deserts too. Just like most of Australia ;)

Central California is a lovely place, particularly SLO. And Northern California too, very spectacular. Southern California is unfortunately a freeway.

The cities are worthless (like most cities, unless they're very old, or very unusual in some way). The alpine regions, the deserts, the tropical rainforests, some of the southern coastlines (beaches anywhere north of Byron Bay are very ordinary), the Granite Belt, the Northern Rivers, Lake Eyre, the Central Highlands of Tasmania .. and that's some of it.

    May I recommend

    @Sallyally's Place.
Comes with meals, critters, and Peter too.
    She is a good cook.
A bit out in hilly country side, or maybe big lot suburbia.

More Info: Conversation / Message Sallyally.
    Plan on renting a car.
Sleeping bags may be required along with your own towels.

    :)

Yeah we would have to kill you, and since we are all "disarmed", we would have to beat you to death with a Nunya.

Nong is pretty offensive, I just looked it up.

Franga is a region including Frankston and Victoria.

It all depends on the context, like a lot of Australian uses of words the context tells you more, similar to bastard listen to the hidden clues.

For example, "You have your shoes on the wrong feet ya nong." This expression is one you might jokingly use on a five year old. If they are much older than 5 then they probably are a nong.

However if someone shouts at you "if you don't shut up during the movie you efen nong, I'll rip your arm of and beat you senseless with the wet end." Then they are probably being derogatory.

    Context!

In the last case, often one of the similes of "nong" is preferred.

Also what is done with the appendage can vary, usually involving inserting it somewhere uncomfortable.

Two cannibals were sitting around the fire one evening.
Cannibal one: How did you do today?
Cannibal two: Good, we went to the east side and found a Chinese junk mored off the beach. We swam out and ate them all.
Cannibal one: Nice, what were they like?
Cannibal two: They tasted lovely but an hour later we were hungry again. How did you go?
Cannibal one: We went well too, we went to the west coast and found a circus ship mored, so we swam out and ate most of them.
Cannibal two: Oh you didn't eat all of them?
Cannibal one: No, the clowns tasted funny.

    Sure.

Give another Australian asset to the Chinese
like giving the Japanese your natural gas.

Australians are so focken stupid it wouldn't surprise anyone with a double digit IQ they are using drought as a pretend basis to allow the Chinese to "swoop-in" and export their roo meat.

A population cannot get anymore focken stupid than selling a countries natural gas to the Japanese for 50 cents, and then buying it back for $2.00 - can they? :icon_clueless:

There is a reason why these idiots are not taken seriously on the international stage, they just haven't figured it out yet. LOL
