    I understand thinking its strange, and thinking the guy is a bit on the fruity side for wanting to be a cheerleader, I just would like to understand this visceral disgust people are espousing.

    There would be no need to, if understand. Explanation would be worthless.

    I genuinely do. I don't find myself repulsed seeing women do things that are generally associated with masculinity.

    I find your response strange. Why can't you explain it?

    Yep; in our advanced years we pay for the enthusiasms of youth. With me it was martial arts training. There are times now when the weather changes that I am tempted to reach for a cane. Meh . . . but so it goes. "M-e-m-o-r-i-e-s can be beautiful and yet . . . ."

    Nobody is saying that leftists are not entitled to watch their favorite body parts. Nobody is foolish enough to believe that leftists have any respect for any sort of cultural traditions.     The NFL's cheerleaders are eye candy, and unlike college cheerleaders they frequently have no ties to the team or city they play in. Cheerleaders are the soft side of the NFL's business.

    So who thinks this guy is eye candy? Most men won't and women watching muscular well built athletes probably won't.

    What is the purpose of having this guy being a cheerleader?

    What a load of ****. Male cheerleaders have been a staple in the college game, and I never heard one guy complain about them. You just need something to bitch about to make yourself feel better. Try a hobby.

    How often do the cameras pan the cheerleaders during a game? Live almost never. So who cares. Besides, I'm all for equality.

    How is it that someone on the left completely ignores one of the most discriminatory and bigoted things in this country? Have you noticed that all NFL cheerleaders are pretty young women, none of them are fat, ugly or have a prosthetic leg? None of them are too tall or too short, I'm willing to bet there are height and weight restrictions for every chick out there. If Whoopi Goldberg can wave a pom pom as good as any of those girls could do you think they'd pick her to be on the squad?

    So how does the NFL handle this blatant sexist and discriminatory behavior? They bring in a token guy who who could probably belong to just about any of the 217 different gender groups, and this guy has no business being on a football field, maybe a flower shop, but not a football field.

    By giving the NFL a pass on their discriminatory and sexist practices you're telling the entire world it's OK to hire someone based upon their physical appearance rather than ability.

    Tell me again how you guys are all for equality and fairness.
