Beautiful country, I was TDY to Bodo Norway in the early 90s. It was always strange coming out of the bar at 3am and it was still light out.
Had fun fishing in the fjords, even got to see a pod of killer whales up close.
People were friendly, but I will never get used to fish for breakfast. Also had my first whale burger there, it was good.

Except for the part about coming out of the bar 6 months later
at 1 PM and it's pitch black out there.

Muslims observing Ramadan with hardly an hour out of 24 to eat.
It was recently at the Summer Solstice

It may be Alaska but the original was Nordic.
    Good flick too.

Convinced me to stay in Southern California.
Even the northern part of the State has more drastic day time/night time variations over the year.

    OP

You 'speak' excellent English for a foreigner. I was called 'a foreigner' in another thread just now, but I'm not one. I can't be, because I'm English.

As a Russian agent I can call you a foreigner, I thought I was English but apparently I work for Russia so I was told on here. Just wondering how I get my paycheck?
