St_James, in a unlikely outbursts, that fit the role of every single stereotype set by liberals, targeted me for ethnic background and religion, which he knows nothing about. With my integrity questioned, I am forced to crush him in moderated debate. We will be debating the institution of a minimum wage set at 10.10$ USD. I would like to see him respond, although I do not expect much. I ask, if possible, that this debate remains moderated by a participating moderator. If none such is presence, then we'll duke this out none the less.
I sent him multiple PM's. He's ignoring me and refused to debate this. Therefore, I am declared the victor.
I sent a letter to Obama demanding a one-on-one debate over the national debt. He ignored me and refused to debate this, therefore - I am declared the victor. Him not participating doesn't mean you win by default.
Maybe he just can't be bothered. Maybe he doesn't have the time. Who knows. - - - Updated - - - Maybe he just can't be bothered. Maybe he doesn't have the time. Who knows.
You know I've created a structure for a formal debate here, and we've yet to have one. So ill debate you on this issue - and I suppose that means, by your own statements, that you will accept or concede defeat?
Don't know that we need to keep raising minimum wage (although I can understand why it's needed). Just cut down on some of the fat profit margin the big boys and their minions slice off for themselves and starting breaking up the biggest uncontrollable conglomerates, and costs will go down on their own.
Toy'sare us is in the process of bankruptcy sell off,one week before the announcement they gave $8 Million to be split between the companies Executives. The workers who are all losing their jobs get absolutely no severance....a GROSS INJUSTICE INTO WHICH the bankruptcy court should intervene and claw back every dime of that $8 Million to divide amongst the departing employees.
As long as you permit employers to pay such paltry minimum wages you will wind up subsidizing these employees via your tax dollars for welfare, food stamps,Medicaid etc.Letting the employer off the hook passes the burden to taxpayers.
Get rid of it all. I'd prefer you go the tax route because then there's some pushback. If it's all done via stealth through labor price floors then it's hard for the community to tell these people to work or die in the streets.
