They are dinosaurs using ancient technology. Nobody wants to search through a TV guide looking to see when their favorite program is going to be played. These days, if you want to watch something, you search for it and a second later you're watching it.

They've tried making that switch, but just can't do it. For example, msnbc has a youtube channel with 1.1 million subscribers, and most of their videos get about 20k views. Some are up in the 150k area and many are below 10k views.

Pewdipie is just one guy, and he has 66 million subscribers with each video averaging 5 million views.

Sorry, but that whole format has been hit by a giant iceberg and they're going down with the ship. They tried making the switch and failed.

What are you talking about? Generals? What do the generals do? Do they somehow get rid of these opponents? No. They make them dig in their heels and fight back. What can these 'generals' possibly achieve? What is the best possible outcome for your divide and do nothing tactic?

In other words, "do what I say or we'll wipe you out."

The best possible outcome is that the enemy eventually loses power and the only difference in congress is that there's an aisle dividing a sea of conservatives on both sides.

If you haven't noticed, the left has been trying to fight back, and like any losing military campaign, they've been trying to experiment with different tactics. Unfortunately, truth is not one of those tactics, so they've painted themselves into a corner that doesn't have any republicans colluding with russians, doesn't have any ideas that people actually agree with, and like a kamikaze pilot, simply can't change course and head back home. They've got to just aim at the juiciest target while praying to Obama and hoping that democratic heaven isn't populated with a bunch of SJW lesbians screeching about white males invading their safe space.

So your plan is literally to bully them until everyone realizes what losers they are? You're going with the plan of an insecure, prepubescent boy with Daddy issues?

I guess it's a sign of the times. Back when people could compromise by kicking the can down the road, people didn't need to make the hard calls to fix things. They could compromise in politics. But that's changing, we have many issues that are coming home to roost, and the solutions are very partisan and each side had its own solutions to these problems, just you have to choose one solution, left or right handed???

    There's no need for compromise.

Just what problems did we kick down the road? We sent men into space in an era of compromise. Won the cold war in an era of compromise. We got through three recession in an era of compromise.

    What problems are so insurmountable?

What would you like to call it? Are you reasoning with these people? Having rational discussion? Having impassioned debates?

No. You're calling them names, telling people they're stupid, saying it would be better if they just disappeared.

What do you think a better word is?

I think I already explained that the time for rational discussion and impassioned debates are gone. We've tried for years, but it hasn't worked out. I'd still be willing to try, but if you haven't noticed, you said I was bullying but haven't managed to point to anything I wrote that could be called "bullying".

Calling people stupid? Who did I call stupid? Saying it would be better if they disappeared? Who would that be?

It's not better to segregate ourselves. It's terrible.

Differences of opinion allow people to reach better solutions.

However, power and trillions of dollars are at stake. There is a globalist effort to transform the US, so anything goes.

I think we could compromise on all that stuff if enough of us tried.
BTW, if you guys want to help try and find compromise on immigration in particular,
you should drop by and vote in this poll: Ranked Vote: How To Enact Immigration Reform? (Consolidated)

Because all possible compromises have been rejected.

With healthcare reform, the "compromise" was obamacare, which didn't get a single republican vote. We were told to give it a try, and if it didn't work out, then the democrats would be totally responsible for the failure. Well, they are totally responsible for the failure which means they're not allowed back at the table. If there's a compromise, it'll be between republicans.

With education costs, we all know how it used to be. When I went to uni, tuition was free for residents. Now it's beyond insane. You don't need a compromise to just go back to the way things were, which was to have state taxes pay for state universities and municipal governments paying for city colleges, and limit students to residents or foreign students who have to pay an arm and a leg to attend because they aren't residents.

We know what worked, so why compromise on that? Just get rid of the stupidity that messed everything up.

The economy? It sure would be nice, but nothing the left will agree to can be agreed to by the right. Nope, it'll continue to go down the road of no-return until the USD is worthless. That's why so many conservatives are looking at things like crytpos, precious metals, and shotguns.

At the end of the day, it's just a fiat currency.

Sorry, but I'm really trying to find some compromise that is possible. Compromise by itself is not a good enough reason to accept compromise, so you've gotta come up with something we can agree on. Personally, I think we're like a married couple that really just need to get a divorce or it's going to be another wars of the roses.

you'd Have to ask the Democrats who;ve been playing divide and conquer for most of the last two hundred years, the only thing that has changed is who they are attacking.

How about without compromise none of these will be fixed?

By the way, free tuition for residents? That's a socialist idea.

Yes, it's a socialist idea, but you're keeping the funding local. You guys want to let a bunch of illegals to attend? Well, then YOU have to pay for your illegals.

Without compromise, none of those will be fixed? Okay, so we don't fix them. We aren't married, dude. It's very very very easy for us to just go our separate ways. It's right there in the tenth amendment.
