Take the matter up with the forum rules themselves. And then try actually abiding by them for a change.
He hasn't been posting anything of the kind. The problem is you aren't articulating your position very well.
The argument could be made that referring to armed individuals as being so-called "chicken *****" because they do not subscribe to the outdated notion of using their fists for defending themselves from threats does indeed qualify as such.
Correction...I referred to the individuals in the OP as being chicken *****. If you someone felt I was referring to you, well....that’s on you. Pay attention to what I am ACTUALLY posting rather than what you THINK I’m posting.
The same thing was said regarding Drejka after he was violently assaulted and shoved to the ground in an unjustified, unprovoked manner.
Yup. Because he too was a chicken ****. I have every right to my opinion and don’t care one bit if you don’t like it.
Thus demonstrating a sense of contempt for individuals who do not resort to their fists when they are in need of defending themselves in demonstrations of the outdated definition of what constitutes manliness.
Nope. Couldn’t be more wrong. But then again...what else is new. I’ve already stated, many times, why these specific people are chicken *****.
Who was the one that continues to escalate the situation in an openly hostile manner, even after firearms were brought into the equation?
You don't kill someone for complaining that you unnecessarily brought firearms to the situation. Good lord.
Agreed, they were foolish cowards, and the victim was an idiotic brave man. Nobody involved that I could see did anything close to the right thing.
You didn't read the story, did you? The couple (victim and his girlfriend/common law wife) had thrown out the mattress into the dumpster a couple days before. They found the mattress on their yard. They put it back. The older shooter took mattress out, and put it back in their yard. The girlfriend then starts to yell at him demanding he put it back. He says he has a gun, pulls it out. Victim comes out and starts raising hell. Sometime in all of this, shooter's son comes out with a shotgun. Then comes what happens in the video. We can't see the actual shooting nor the few seconds that were before the shooting. We can just hear that part. My observations: 1) guy with pistol shouldn't have drawn his pistol/son shouldn't have come out with shotgun. 2) victim shouldn't have repeatedly threatened to kill two guys with a gun while he was unarmed; 3) girlfriend should have called 911 instead of videoing and getting into the thick of the fight (around the end of the video). 4) I'm glad the two shooters are up on murder charges.
The guy who got shot was an idiot. A brave idiot, but an idiot nonetheless--it's just stupid for an unarmed man to yell death threats at two armed men. The two shooters were also idiots. The father (older guy with the pistol) was an absolute idiot for drawing his gun in the first place. To answer your question: Of course not, the only time to draw a gun on somebody is if you or somebody else are in danger of a forcible felony. Yelling isn't a felony.
Agree with the general principle of this argument, but I would never want to live with a government that had the power to stop reproduction.
