Kavanaugh, Ford set to testify in Senate Judiciary Committee hearing

Everyone knows this is just a political stunt. The Dems say Kavanaugh participated in ten gang rapes.


No rational person can believe this stuff.

 

Hell you said she wouldn't even testify and tell her story. Looks like she had some backbone after all huh?

 

How detached from reality would a serial liar like Blumenthal have to be, to start out by making such a statement?

 

If you are not ready to accept the truth in an answer do not ask the question. No one called you a liar. You call me a troll and you falsely accuse me of trolling.

The Public: "Ok where did it happen"

Ford: ...........

Ford: "Ask me when this happened"

The Public: Ok when did it happen

The Public: Ok who was there.

Ford: "These 4 I mean 3 I mean 5 people!"

The Public: Yeah none of them claim it happened....like at all

 

Coming from someone who can't even admit she has no evidence to back her story and every witness she named denied it happened that's pretty funny.

I think it was refreshing to see a man show some emotion. Frankly, it was needed. Accusations like this need to be treated fairly and seriously.

I agree with Graham's outrage that the democrats didnt bring this up earlier. I also believe they should have investigated this more thoroughly. I think there are holes in the story kavanaugh produced - but I also dont believe drinking in high school and college is enough to label someone a sex offender for life.

Personally, I believe both of them. I think they were both believable. I am not sure what really happened. Maybe it was consensual and she remembers it as abuse because they were drunk. Who knows. Something clearly happened to her. Was it Brett? I dont think that's been proven by the evidence.

I know this. Kavanaugh is not fit to serve. If his loyalty was aphotic before its crystal clear now - he is loyal to trump and trump alone. I dont believe in a sympathy vote. I think he is not a constitutionalists and I think hes bad for the court.

That being said, Feinstein should be forced to retire.

 

Yes she did testify. And she proved herself to be every bit the liar I said she was. Unless you want to claim she still has a fear of flying after claiming to be a world traveler.

And once again she had no evidence and no witnesses supporting her. So how's that taste huh?

My favorite part was when Cruz was explaining how the letter could be handled in a confidential manner and how these matters are normally handled and Feinstein never responded to that line of questioning

 

Did they deny it under oath?

 

Ford's lawyers are pro bono. The saying nothings free in life rings a bell

 

She didnt come off as a liar. Misremembering? Possible. Liar? No. I think that's unfair. Moreover, two things stand out to me here

1. She wrote the letter in july and wanted confidentiality. This doesnt seem to me to be malevolent on her part.

2. Its quite clear she has some serious trauma.

I think the vilification of her by people like you is a horrible thing. I think common courtesy is missing here and you need to learn how to use it, mortal.

 

He knew better than attack Ford. So he attacked the messengers of his accusers.

Rightful anger is fine but misdirected anger is a sign of a deranged individual. Judge K came accross as a deranged buffoon.

But worry not he will be confirmed even though he is a man with flawed temperment.

The one she claimed to be in the room with him did and none of them support her.

How many eye witnesses did she have that even claimed she was right? Oh that's right, zero.

I see you ran away from the reality she still couldn't name a place or time it happened nor did you address her lying about being afraid of flying. So typical.

 

And, I like beer.....Like the old Tom T Hall song.....He did look a little unhinged at times. He was very non responsive and hostile many times when the Democrats were questioning him......Very disrespectful as opposed to Dr. Blasey-Ford...Lindsay Graham was really a disgraceful drama queen who was obviously preening for Trump's AG appointment....Not a good day for Kavanaugh or the GOP in general...

 

I do not remember who posted it but someone here referred to Mrs. Ford as a lying snake.

That is the kind of crap that the Trump crowd throws up here.

I think it's just perfect. Kavanaugh retorted that FBI investigators don't render conclusions, they submit 302's recounting witness statements. Brett noted that all the witnesses has already submitted sworn statements, and that all of them refuted Ford's story, not his. Anyone with 1 brain cell knows the FBI isn't interested, and why. Ford didn't provide any new names or details about the scene. Ford only provided a more graphic, and dramatic account of an incident that only she's aware of. Dems just don't get that not everyone succumbs to propaganda, and peer pressure. Independent thinkers perplex them.

 

That would be my impression.

While I can't say that Kavanaugh was dishonest, I can say he didn't come across as honest.

 

Big law firms often do pro bono work especially in high profile cases like this. Then when some rich prick gets his tit in a ringer, he calls them up to get his ass off and pays through the nose. Especially in towns like Washington, New York and LA.

 

Today did not hurt Kavanaugh's confirmation. True Judge K was out of control, hostile, disrespectful, drama queen, childish crying, calendar hugging toddler. Yet he will be a SUPREME court judge.
