I'll not post more, let's chat a bit so it gets dragged into a third page because it'll become very heavy, this page 2.
cool thread. great pics. I was in West Germany in the 1980s as a military dependent. I loved it. Some of the best times of my life....no kidding.
Should visit Bulgaria & Romania then! Thank you. It's a great Airbag. Balkan style. Made in the Balkans. The only thing we produce -- Redneck Airbags for Volvos. Want some? Shipping with USPS Express Mail, not even Priority, but, check this out, Express Mail!
not an ounce of hate from me, actually, just seemed odd to ask first, it came off as a fishing expedition... perhaps bulga can't handle rejection, so he waited for approvals/interest before posting. @BULGARICA ... nice pics, thanks for sharing... "the world never is as it seems to be"
Why bother? Everyone can open Google Maps, take "the little dude" (street view) and make a virtual tour around the world.
Thanks. You're going into my ignore list so don't bother replying, sir. That's even a shallower post than the one from above. I'll let some photographers come in and eventually explain. If not, I'm not gonna waste my time trying to explain something to someone that has been nothing but rude to me for no apparent reason. You're now in my ignore list. Enjoy staying there. I explained in a post why. Read it. Thanks.
Not I want to be some martyr but I'm swallowing all the hate, from above and everywhere, swallowing my pride, just so I can show these things to people that matter, for me and in general. I'd say food is not the best, it's great for foreigners, but to be completely objective, it's often very oily, and me personally and many people around me prefer Italian or French. Bulgarian food is also served in huge dishes. Great for people that are 60 ye'rs old and want to get fat and older. But drinks are heaven oh heavens. Airyan salty milk drink with ice in the summer ah, and there's something never seen anywhere and it's named Boza, it's a sweet drink made of rye or wheat. Great for breakfast that one is. I'd say the best thing is the language. It's pretty amazing. Yeah. I like it. It's harder than Italian even. And it sounds great. Russian language is softer, and Russians sound like they're slobbering while talking. And by the way, the nodding thing everyone so passionately supports on TV, it's wrong. I've never nodded my hand up and down for "no", and left and right for "yes". Not ever anyone around me. That's trash.
Thanks for the pictures! Always good to expand your world even if some over members would rather ignore it. I lived in Lithuania for over a year in 3 broken up stints was amazing. The architecture is quite similar, I take it Bulgaria has a lot of Catholics?
I can't help but wonder what you would call that thing at the DMV while seeking a license plate. What, No VIN?
Very good question. You can't. It's illegal. They're driving it illegally. If stopped they'll be fined for driving without a license, and driving without a vehicle registration. Fines will often go up to $400-500. The redneck people just don't pay their fines is all. So the Traffic Police don't bother fining them. No point in that since no money will be collected. And if you see closely, the lawnmower is connected to the cart with some sort of a wood. A real wooden tree branch. Insanity.
Photo taken - in winter. We know they're retarded but they're not that retarded to keep the decorations all year round. They usually remove them late Jan or early Feb. Hotel Admiral (old Rodina), Golden Sands Resort The Eiffel Tower, Golden Sands Resort The Carousel, Golden Sands Resort
