    For breakfast --

    - boiled oatmeal made with milk and maple syrup

    - orange juice to wash it down with

    - moonshine to chase it with.

    A shot a day keeps the cardiologist away.

    I was right there with ya until the moonshine. Well, my maple & brown sugar oatmeal came from the microwave and the OJ was water, but you get my drift.

    Thank you for the welcome.

    In that case, I'll have a dark brew. Or maybe two! ;)

    Did you actually ask everybody if they were Italian? or do you mean family as in La Familia.... they don't usually have business cards printed with it.

    Got my brewing area set up in our temporary housing, waiting for the tap water results to come back from the lab but I have a feeling I will have to edge toward darker beers.

    Your lucky SMW served. Normally she'll slosh one or two onto the bar and grab a margarita for herself. After that, it's serve yourself.

    I lived in Reynoldsburg (just east of Columbus) for several years, while I worked for the Air Guard*. There are all kinds of people there. Until your revelation, I would have assumed that some were Italian. I never asked anyone, though.

    *I'll never toot my own horn...

    While I worked there, I was a member of a team that was entered in a prestigious military competition called "International Air Tattoo". We walked away with the Concours d'Elegance trophy.

    Used to travel to Boise, Idaho quite a bit for work. Their airport is shared with the National Guard, and one day, while waiting, I saw one of these beast came in for a landing. Because of its shear size, it seems like it's moving so slow that it would fall out of the sky. Here is one of the beast taking off.

    I am sitting in a parking lot. I have WiFi service so I thought I would tell you all is well. We have no phone service, no water, and no power but all is well. We were lucky.

    Do you have any water at all?
    Im trying to find if there is a list of any places that have water to distribute. They are trying to drop off supplies by helicopter.

    From what's being reported by Shepard Smith { No fan of }
    Hurricane Michael picked about the best spot to make a direct hit.
    It was away from any urban center or even city.In fact,if was so remote
    that the cable outlets dint have camera crew in the place it struck.
    So far there have been 2 reported fatalities.
    But the devastation in the places it stuck { not the direct hit places }
    was very substantial and of course the surge did a lot of flood damage.
    Limbaugh explained about hurricane on account since he moved from
    N.Y.city to Florida in 1997 he studied up on Hurricane since his
    compound is in Hurricane alley.That the spot with a direct hit is
    where most of the damage occurs.And that Mexico Beach,Fla.
    where the Hurricane first made landfall was not the first or only time
    a Cat 4 every struck the panhandle.
    Don't forget that Katrina did not make a direct hit on New Orleans.
    It skipped by and hit Mississippi.It was a Cat 2 when it moved towards
    New Orleans.It was the Levy's that broke/leaked that did-in New Orleans.
