Who here "pushes for abortion" where it is not a medical necessity?

Mind you I have yet to see any so called pro lifers advocating for those things that would reduce abortion such as paid maternity leave, child support, etc

NO I do not "push for abortion".

NOW, SHOW PROOF I PUSH FOR ABORTION OR ADMIT YOU LIED

Funny how Anbti-Choicers have to "misrepresent" others but it's because they HAVE NO FACTS TO USE...

All kinds of women abort and ALL humans are selfish....but I'm sure Anti-Choicers think only women are evil/bad if they are selfish....figures...

Here's the post that kazenatsu HAD TO IGNORE so he could "misrepresent" me

FoxHastings: No, because Pro-Choicers do NOT PUSH FOR ABORTION.

Look up this word in the dictionary, "CHOICE"....Now, when you learn what it is put "pro" in front of it.

Pro-Choicers are for choice...see how that works?

Pro-Choicers want women to have the same rights as everyone else and Anti-Choicers don't so pro-choicers fight so women will be treated like the American citizens they are.

I think for some it's hard to wrap their heads around women having the same rights as the Royal Male so those people may just never understand the above.

AND money(poverty) is not the only reason women have abortions..."""""

Anti-Choicers sure have to ignore facts....:)

    And just why don't they?
    It's a fair question.

Oh please, in most places a woman can go down to the local county clinic and get her tubes tied for a $60 co-pay.

There was a Guttmacher abortion patient survey a while back that showed the majority of them did not.

    Really?
So you think a 22 year old female should be sterilised if she is not in a stable relationship? Is that her options?

Since when was 49% a majority?

    • Fifty-one percent of abortion patients in 2014 were using a contraceptive method in the month they became pregnant, most commonly condoms (24%) or a hormonal method (13%).8
    https://www.guttmacher.org/fact-sheet/induced-abortion-united-states

And where were the responsible men preventing these unwanted pregnancies?

No, but it is an option. If she absolutely does not want to get pregnant and knows for certain she will never want to.

    Now let's talk about condoms...

The vast majority of conservatives don't object to paying for birth control, as long as that birth control isn't abortion.

Medicaid covers contraception. And the poorest of our people have Medicaid. Not to mention that you can get free birth control pills from planned parent hood and greatly reduced birth control pills from Wal-Mart.

Abortions are not free. So it doesn't make sense to say the poorest can't afford birth control.

Must be another reason why the poor have abortions and I'm guessing it has more to do with a lack of personal responsibility or lifestyle. The "baby daddy" is the norm in heavy multi generational poverty. Sex without responsability can lead to poverty and the assess to contraception does not trump a lack of responsability.

Why should they? No one is obligated to use any birth control.....

That's a more than fair question but you'll squirm out of it somehow..:

Now let's get back to why those against rights for women have to MISEPRESENT what others post:

NO I do not "push for abortion".

NOW, SHOW PROOF I PUSH FOR ABORTION OR ADMIT YOU LIED

YUPPERS! It ALWAYS boils down to " Force these lazy sluts to have babies by banning abortion so we can call them names for having babies"

So typical of Anti-Choicers "resoniong" ability...

If you want to see something funny, go to the Currents Events Forum for "'We've bred them to their limit': death rates surge for female pigs in the US""

I don't know the stance on abortion that the OP or other posters have but so far they are against PIGS being bred too much , how cruel and harmful it is...how they (pigs) are so cruelly treated by being forced to gestate so much....

Poverty is very sad, but it's not a pity card excuse to have an abortion.

Well, not a second-trimester one, anyway...

Too bad !! :) :) Women don't need a reason at all to get an abortion, all they have to do is want one :) :)

AND : NO I do not "push for abortion".

NOW, SHOW PROOF I PUSH FOR ABORTION OR ADMIT YOU "misrepresented" what I posted....

    That whole paragraph...

You said the "poor" have no sense of responsibility ( which is silly to say if they abort a kid they can't afford). You slammed the "poor", an easy target, while ignoring the FACT that they aren't the only women who have abortions.

No, for some poor women there is no easy access to safe, affordable, reliable, birth control.

There is the FACT that all birth control has a failure rate.

There is the BIG Fact that NO ONE is obliged to use birth control.
