Well, that's why I asked @Antiduopolist what "rights" were being violated. If someone wants to pretend, I'll play along, but that's because I'm easy going, not everyone is going to want to play along and that's their choice.

I saw an interesting study that illustrates that everyone knows this is pretend, even the trans folks.

Gay Women, for example, will not form relationships with a man who has transitioned to being a woman. But, a Gay woman will form a relationship with a Woman who has transitioned to being a man.

Same for Gay Men. If a woman transitions to being a man, most gay men will not form relationships with him, but, if a gay man transitions to being a woman, other Gay men will still date her.

Some transfolks complain, claiming that its "prejudice" when a hetero man won't date a man who has transited, but, Gay women won't date her either.

So even people who go along with it, only do to a certain point.

It's a bias against stupidity and make believe nonsense.

In our society you are free to transition, play in either gender's sports leagues, use whatever bathroom you want, marry whomever you like, just what the hell is "narrowly defined"? I'm at a loss to think of how it could be even more wide open than it already is.
