The STG was unreliable. You can't honestly say the same about the AK especially the russian ones.
And the AK also used an intermediary cartridge, not a full powered one like the AK.

One of the principles behind the Zionist movement was not only the creation of Israel as a nation-State, but the principle of the right of return for the Jewish People. Why have they not returned? And that's not a question just from me, there are Jews in Israel who ponder the question themselves. The need for the Jewish to establish themselves as citizens of other countries is long over after the creation and maintaining of the Jewish State. If the Jewish don't like it here in America, despite our overwhelming AIPAC support, etc then my humble suggestion to them is to follow the origins of their roots and return to their most blessed protected homeland.

 

I have not read any documentation claiming that the STGR -44 hadvreliability problems but it is well documented that Mickey Kolashnikov copied a whole lot from the STGR -44. Oone item I will agree with you on is that the 44 was a bit underpowered.
