FiveThirtyEight officially calls the House Race for the Democrats. Senate called for Republicans. Now will just be interesting to see how many seats each party picks up. +2 for the Senate was what I thought, not too impressive. If it is +37 in the house for Dems, it is meh. Ends up going higher I will say a good night for them, lower I will say a bad night. Governors races are now in the spotlight.
You *have* to ask? These people aren't patriotic. And we're stuck with them until 2020 at the minimum. We desperately need a third party in American politics.
what will that accomplish? his returns are so involved it takes the irs more than a year to go through them, & they haven't found anything illegal... so if the silly dems 'find' something, it would actually mean the irs is corrupt or stupid or derelict in their duty, eitherway, it wouldn't be the taxpayer's (trump in this case) fault... it'd be nothing more than a silly witch hunt for vengeance sake...

Fox news is calling the Florida Governor's race for Mr DeSantis. A lot of people in Florida are breathing a sign of relief.
It's so ironic. Over the past two years, I had complained of this government's resistance. Now Republicans can bemoan the lost opportunity of the majority with a majority President. Now they must operate from a gross minority. And as far as the Republican Senate, they wouldn't want to be as suicidal as the House Republicans were. As Pollycy predicted, we're going to head to extreme gridlock.
We are getting those tax returns, and I will enjoy Trump's apologists squirming as we do. If he had nothing to hide then he would have reported them like every other presidential candidate. He is lying about how much he is worth, and he is lying about the nature of his wealth and how much he gets from foreign nations. Time to find out the truth.
It's funny how much these races can differ, but of course the Senate was a tough one for the Democrats this year. I suppose they didn't campaign as hard for it as they could have, opting to focus on the House. But Minnesota, for example, exhibits a similar phenomenon, but in reverse - it's heavily Republican for the House, but we have had and are keeping Democratic representation in both the Senate and the office of governor.
I can't take a post serious when communism is brought up as what is going on in America. That is far far out in crazy land. And the young people had a recession to go through where they could NOT get jobs. I work with several millenials, they are no different than when we were in our 20s or early 30s. Who is fear mongering and some of the public isn't buying the fear mongering BS, the party that has the WH.
It is just pretty crazy how vastly different the results from the two houses are. I was reading an article that said for the elections of Senate and House to divide like this is extremeley rare and doesn't happen often. Wish I remember where it was, sorry, been clicking around reading like crazy and didn't write it down. But it is going to be interesting to look at, Republicans picking up more Senate seats than expected is a pretty big deal IMO. Dems are at +34 which is a "meh" night for them IMO considering what the media was pushing. We will see if they get above or below +35 which was my prediction going in (not bad eh?).
They will get nothing else done, Trump will be revealed as a fraud and a criminal and Republicans could be finished for 10-20 years. What a blunder.
Im not the one making false claims about what Waters said and claiming how the republicans somehow have decency, which, is ironic given Trump is the head of the GOP as president and some of the stuff said during this election cycle by GOP candidates
