Lean right, legalisation and taxation of weed is the only choice that makes sense. Also legalise distillation for home moonshiners because prohibition is comical.
I'm skeptical of legalisation because I live in a country with government run Maoist struggle sessions over tobacco. I like the illegal market. No regulation, I do what I want. Delivery at 4am? No problem. Not a cent in tax? Perfect. I mainly favor legalising cultivation for personal use. Of all drugs.
Under my scheme weed is taxed and sold but homegrowers would be allowed say 16 plants. I would also basically ban hps lighting for weed growing in the Southern States because it's a joke to grow indoors, air condition, etc. when you can create amazing greenhouse environments at a fraction of the co2 per gram. How Americans grow weed is well very American but also incredibly inefficient, it's a lot like using a 5.7l V8 for a Mini.
I don't care about emissions. Hydroponics are not a weed related thing, they're used to grow all sorts of fruits and vegetables. It massively increases yield. 16 plants is fkn huge haha. Like 6 pounds per harvest.
Hydroponics is simply how they are fed, in an organic system you feed the microherd in the soil which feeds the plants. In Hydroponics you feed the plants with salts in plant ready form. You can grow hydro outdoors and many people do it has nothing to do with the lighting. We grow most of our tomatoes hydro in the UK under lights but in greenhouses which let natural light in. The system is very efficient but the tomatoes taste like crap because they run EC's at 3.6 which would kill weed and leaves a chemical taste in the tomatoes. Dropping the EC to 2.0 makes the tomatoes edible but at the cost of yield so you know how they swing in the UK. MJ grow outdoors in California is stronger and better smoke than MJ grown indoors due to UV, it's just retarded to grow it indoors. Legalise it and grow it commercially in greenhouses. Or grow it at home in a pimped greenhouse with fans, co2, dehumidifier.
I'm not smoking weed for its delicious taste. I vape if I want to taste it. Oh boy some weed tastes good when vaporised. The drug war lot would probably be surprised. Anyway, I agree dirt grown is better. It's not as potent, but you get more of it. Just smoke more if you have to. I strongly support the same for opium, coca, etc. Legalise cultivation.
Legalize weed. And all victimless crimes in general, e.g prostitution. Just not hard drugs, since as addiction is too strong it's not a free choice anymore.
Here is my vote: *I lean right, criminalize weed. I think that if a personal cannot face life head-on with self-induced delusion, than they should just call it quits. If a person uses marijuana to cope with some type of ailment, I am sure that the person would use the pill form and not want to impose on others by smoking the narcotic/hallucinogen. If we lived in a civilized society, I would probably have a different take on the use of marijuana, but we do NOT so I take the position that I deem is best for my own sensibilities.
based purely on this poll, 100% of lefties support legalization, and 84% of righties support legalization. Obviously the sample is too small to mean anything... But the results are pretty much what I expected, and what my anecdotal/personal experience indicates as well. The question then becomes- assuming the poll is even close to representing reality, why is it so hard to get it legalized?
Oh c'mon, is it really that important of a distinction in a meaningless internet poll? I was trying to keep it simple by being general.
Oh c'mon, I wasn't knocking your poll. I was saying there is a difference between legalizing and decriminalizing.
FLOTUS Hillary Clinton had a cocaine den in the Clinton White House according to the FBI and Secret Service.
Legalize it just so people shut up about it. This is literally a nonissue and a distraction from important things in our country.
I'm not saying it was right to force opium on China I'm just saying an Englishman really needs his Tea.
I didn't vote in the poll because my opinion about weed is changing -- and that surprises me. I live in Colorado, and I voted for full legalization of weed years ago, for fun, for medicine, for any reason at all. I voted for sale of it purely because of the taxes it would rake in, and because I believe in individual freedom and liberty! BUT... what I never imagined was how many homeless bums would troop in here, crapping up EVERYTHING, and they are very honest about why they came. They'll tell the news media in all honesty that they poured in here because marijuana is legal -- pure and simple. Now we've got these worthless, trashy bastards ALL OVER THE PLACE, and these liberal judges make it impossible for local governments to run them off. They sh*t in the creeks and streams, they puke, piss, and sh*t in the streets, they are involved in violent crimes, they panhandle aggressively and harass people for no reason at all, they start large, destructive wildfires, they pile up huge amounts of trash. They are a damned, stinking NUISANCE, and nobody can do anything about it! Now the cities in Colorado are having to come up with large amounts of money for homeless shelters, free food, free medical care, and "services" for mental problems, clean-up of homeless "camps" (ALL of which are illegal in the first place), and "prevention" programs. I voted for legalization because I wanted to see an offset of all the taxes I had been paying, but now we just have more "services" that we have to provide because OF legalization of marijuana. If you haven't legalized marijuana yet, you'd better think it over carefully. It sounds good at first, and then later on, it ISN'T....
We have the same problem in WA. Be patient. As more places legalize it, the concentration of useless stoners will equalize.
