The headline in the Telegraph was fascinating, "MI6 battling to stop Donald Trump releasing classified Russia probe documents."

What is Theresa May's government hiding?

    The Telegraph reported,

"MI6 chiefs are secretly battling Donald Trump to stop him publishing classified information linked to the Russian election meddling investigation.

"The UK is warning that the US president would undermine intelligence gathering if he releases pages of an FBI application to wiretap one of his former campaign advisers.

"However Trump allies are fighting back, demanding transparency and asking why Britain would oppose the move unless it had something to hide.

"It forces the spotlight on whether the UK played a role in the FBI's investigation launched before the 2016 presidential election into Trump campaign ties to the Kremlin."

The investigation was based on Hillary's opposition research. The May government was in cahoots with the Hillary campaign.

That's interesting. If I were Trump I would tell the UK to stick it. Maybe it has to do with their intelligence agent Steele. Could it be possible they had a hand in feeding him information for the dossier? I still wouldn't declassify the doc but I wouldn't give the UK a break.

    Almost certainly its intelligence assets.

If Donald Trump publishes details of MI6's contribution to the FBI investigation, it's likely that the Russians will be able to work out where the UK got its information from, and work to stem that flow of information. If that happens, the UK will be much less likely to share intelligence in the future.

I hope that cost is worth the benefit to President Trump.

I reckon 'Salisbury' was some kind of diversion. She's up to something, I just know she is! I do hope Mr Skripal and his daughter are alright though; they seem to have - and I hesitate to use the word - disappeared?

I thought everyone knew this already, it's common knowledge that the UK government conspired with the DNC to try and swing the election.

Probably some Five Eyes, SigInt Orwell level ****. Maybe these phones we're all using were just a government ploy to place a 24/7 mic and camera in everyone's hands.

Maybe May is a reptilian from outer space. I wouldn't rule it out :roflol:

More likely her government has been actively sabotaging Brexit from day 1 and Trump has dirt on it.

I didn't know, but it sure makes more sense to me than the claimed Russian connection.

I used "Everyone" in the same context as the man in pub lol.

As you know the "gold standard" in informational accuracy ;)

The spy in the Trump campaign, the Cambridge University professor that's heavily involved in wiki and worked for both US and UK intelligence services was the moment it was obvious to me.

It helps that I don't read/watch the BBC now it's gone full propaganda and I use the Guardian to wipe my arse on.

The actual factual content of the Guardian increases significantly post wipe.

Whenever one publishes something classified, especially with intelligence gathering, there is always a risks that it could lead to the means, methods and perhaps assets might be disclosed.

The UK can float off to the Arctic for all I care.

They have time to withdraw any agents in danger.

It's time to end the intelligence sharing apparatus anyway, it's effectively a way to get around constitutional protections against search and seizure.

Burn five eyes. Destroy the international order. The UK is beyond helping. Can't even get Brexit right.

:roflol:If the BBC were a newspaper, I'd rather wipe my arse on that? I don't know why it is exactly. but the BBC is really getting on my nerves lately. I think it's because of their leading role in the dumbing down project. Get the national broadcaster and it's a piece of cake to socially-engineer the population. As is being proved day after day.

Every country in the world has a duty to its citizens to interfere with our elections. Those elections directly impact their countries.

Of course we do, we have a vested interest in most countries affairs. This is a very small world now and each country impacts the other. Our CIA would be derelict in its duties if it did not try to impact things in our favor.

More likely the Steele Dossier is a complete fabrication and the "Russian Sources" nothing more than a British fiction.

I ask you again - don't quote my posts to perpetuate your gauche anti-Trump opinions. I said 'governments' not leaders of governments, so in this case it would be Washington DC.
