That's what was said about tobacco and sugar. The tobacco and sugar industries paid off doctors and scientists to claim neither were unhealthy or habit forming. If there is a joke baked into the tobacco, sugar, and global warming themes I am not laughing.

 

For your comparison to be valid you must first assume earth has been warming due to man's behavior which is a big assumption and becomes even more suspect since the earth cooled the last two years as man has dumped record amounts of C02 into the atmosphere.

I'm hoping earth continues to warm as it has since the last ice age ended. Talk of entering a new mini ice age does not set well with me

The issue is global warming, and not an industry trying to protect itself.

Doing research into the subject, reviewing documents available on line through the UN and the World Economic Forum, along with a review of minutes and presentations from the multiple global warming conferences, the pattern and objective is quite clear.

It's not Climate Change, is transfer of wealth, pure and simple. And when boiled down, it's a demand the citizens of the World turn their lives over to an all powerful body of powerful unknown and unelected "officials" who will dictate how everyone on the planet lives and works.

This fact is indisputable. And that is a far different from the objective of big Tabaco, sugar or Oil.
