"Donny, you said Mexico would pay for the wall and that you would take steps on DAY ONE of your presidency to make them cut a check to America to pay for it.
When you get them to cut that check, we will allocate those funds to the wall. Until then, pound sand."

Trump gets to pick what gets cut, just like Obama. This should be fun. I support a Government Shut Down to actually push for the nation to have borders, uphold laws, and provide national security, which are exactly the Constitutional mandates placed upon a the U.S. Government. What is wrong with keeping him to his promise? "When Mexico pays, we will allocate those funds to the wall. Let us know when they cut the check that you promised they would cut us."

Mexico is now having to send $30 billion to the Central American countries because they wouldn't pay for the wall, which would have been cheaper. They will end up paying a lot more the longer they wait paying for the wall.

Also, we can leverage them further in the future when BILLIONS are not being spent annually on South of the border citizens for (health care, education, law enforcement, infrastructure) etc... California is at least $10 Billion alone annually. Finally, the BILLIONS sent back by South of the border citizens who take work from Americans and ship the proceeds home will also greatly benefit us as the money stays here. I am sorry I have to be the one to inform you of all this as you apparently are only subjecting yourself to a media that is brainwashing people to think there is not benefits to the wall and avenues in which it pays for itself through South of the Border $$$ not going their direction.

I consider it a bilateral agreement really. Legislature passes the bill, the executive gives its reasoning for what should and shouldn't be funded. If this were in place, we'd have no shutdown arguments.
