    Close your eyes and imagine Obama holds a press conference where there are four black Americans with afros standing behind him ... imagine the freakout from the Right ... so forgive me a little chuckle at the image of Trump and Co. at the press conference.

    Yeah. We don't have to imagine. He stood with one of the biggest racists and anti semite leaders this country has ever seen and covered it up. It just wasn't a press conference.

    When it comes to the southern border, most Democrats do. Next you'll say you all are for border security and in the next breath say that Trump is trying to keep Brown people out.

    The best part of the "press briefing" was when Trump claimed that he knew more about drone technology than anyone else.

    We were told during the 2016 election that we should take Donald Trump's proclamations "seriously but not literally". President Trump probably believes that he knows more about drone technology than anyone else - but then again he notoriously does not read or listen to others so he likely has little idea about what others know. Then again he often "just says stuff" and is a master of hype and hyperbole so perhaps claiming that he knows more about something than anyone else is just his way of saying that he thinks that he has some kind of basic knowledge of the subject.

    I discussed their lack of content as well. But if you want a more detailed run down,

    Trump congratulated Pelosi. Trump said he was there to let border patrol agents and border patrol union bosses talk about the wall and the shutdown. Trump bragged that he knew more about surveillance technology than anyone. A border patrol agent talked about how they have to deal with murderers and rapists and that a wall worked for them in one city. A border patrol union boss said that it is a lie that federal workers do not support the shutdown because the border patrol agents want a wall. They all thanked trump for being a glorious leader. And then they left without taking any questions.

    So yea, it was a political stunt and mocking the appearance of those involved is about the depth of the required analysis of the event.

    The people who work on the border say they need a wall. Dems refuse to listen or care.

    Dems have no problem with MS-13 expanding its influence in the U.S.

    The "people on the border" say they need a wall because Trump wants them to say that they need a wall in exchange for money, technology, and people.

    Your second sentence is pure bullshit.
