Let's look at Trumps speech full of deceptions:

1) "Our southern border is a pipeline for vast quantities of illegal drugs, including meth, heroin, cocaine and fentanyl. Every week 300 of our citizens are killed by heroin alone, 90 percent of which floods across from our southern border. More Americans will die from drugs this year than were killed in the entire Vietnam War. " Yup, and our border control and the DEA says that the vast majority of it comes through legal ports of entry, the second most used way is by sea. Only a tiny fraction of these drugs are smuggled between legal border access points on the Mexican border... So Trump was lying that a wall, even if it would work, would help this issue.

2) "In the last two years, ICE officers made 266,000 arrests of aliens with criminal records including those charged or convicted of 100,000 assaults, 30,000 sex crimes, and 4,000 violent killings. Over the years thousands of Americans have been brutally killed by those who illegally entered our country and thousands more lives will be lost if we don't act right now. This is a humanitarian crisis, a crisis of the heart and a crisis of the soul." Don't know where this comes from, but first, he doesn't say illegal aliens. Second, it has nothing to do with the southern border. Most illegal aliens don't cross the southern border. The crime rate for illegal aliens is actually lower than for Americans... so how this is a humanitarian crisis if the people he is accusing of being murderers and rapists have a lower crime rate than natural born Americans. Again, another lie that a border wall will make any impact on this whatsoever.

3) "Last month, 20,000 migrant children were illegally brought into the united States, a dramatic increase. These children are used as human pawns by vicious coyotes and ruthless gangs. One in three women are sexually assaulted on the dangerous trek up through Mexico. Women and children are the biggest victims by far of our broken system. This is the tragic reality of illegal immigration on our southern border. This is the cycle of human suffering that I am determined to end. " The border patrol says that almost all children brought across the border are members of a family unit. Finding a child with coyotes or ruthless gangs is almost unheard of. So again Trump is lying about the childrens plight. And how is a wall going to stop people headed to the united states from being assaulted? And again he is citing entry anywhere, not entry sneaking across the southern border... strange how nothing he says is actually relating to the southern border and the fake crisis he is trying to manufacture.

4) "My administration has presented Congress with a detailed proposal to secure the border and stop the criminal gangs, drug smugglers and human traffickers. It's a tremendous problem....… Finally, as part of an overall approach to border security, law enforcement professionals have requested $5.7 billion for a physical barrier. At the request of Democrats, it will be a steel barrier rather than a concrete wall. " More lies... Trump hasn't presented a concreate proposal other than for a wall. Democrats never requested a steel barrier, they don't want to add any new barrier that hasn't already been approved. So it is just lies and more lies. The cost of the whole barrier would also be tens of billions of dollars, so this is only a down payment, which Trump also doesn't mention. And funny but the person that would really love a steel barrier is a Russian Oligarch Roman Abramovich, who is a close ally of Putin and a Trump family friend, and who owns several steel plants in North America.

5) "The border wall would very quickly pay for itself. The cost of illegal drugs exceeds $500 billion a year. Vastly more than the $5.7 billion we have requested from Congress. The wall will always be paid for indirectly by the great new trade deal we have made with Mexico. ". And since these drugs don't come across the Mexican border between ports of entry, how is this going to pay for a wall that won't do anything about it? And the fake trade deal with Mexico, where Trump rebranded NAFTA, only has very very minor tweaks from what we had. Sure, there is a provision about hourly wages paid in Mexico, North American car content, including Mexican and Canadian parts, and some changes to dairy import and export limits with Canada... Nothing that will contribute a penny to the government. So Trump is again flat out lying that either the drug issue or the rebranded NAFTA will be paying for the wall.

How can a Trump supporter not know they are being lied to? Mexico is not paying for the wall. Trump never had a healthcare plan that would cover everyone better and cheaper. Trump did know he was paying off porn stars. Trump did know his campaign was meeting with Russia. Tax cuts won't cut the fiscal deficit. Obama's birth certificate was never fake. Trump stole from charity. Trump committed fraud at Trump U. How can anyone see a long list of lies and more lies, and still support this pathological liar. And now his argument to waste tens of billions on a wall so that he can put his name on it and stroke his own ego is also just a string of lies and deceptions...
