Americans, inured to Cry Baby Donny's chronic lying, are not about to swallow his sudden "EMERGENCY!" ploy after two years of a Republican-controlled House refusing to give him the $5.7 billion of US taxpayer's money for a boondoggle he repeatedly promised Mexico would pay for.

Last night's address gave people the chance to hear firsthand about this issue. The majority of people aren't political junkies like we are, and they are largely ignorant of the details, except for maybe the soundbites and spin they might catch on the evening news. Being able to illustrate what two-faced obstructionists Schumer and Pelosi are, on primetime national television, was just a bonus. (Although I'd guess the average Joe is more likely to recognize Kanye or a Kardashian than they are to recognize Schumer or Pelosi anyhow.)

 

I don't think there was supposed to be any new information. It's getting close to decision time, and he let America know that. There may have been little sound bites and snippets about the wall, but not any recent addresses to the nation about the subject. I don't see why it upsets you, other than "Trump is doing something, so it must be bad."

 

Climate change is a known problem... So you make it very clear your opinions have no basis is reality... Let me ask, if a burglar broke into your house through the first floor windows, again and again. you were robbed many times, and they all came through your first floor windows... would you think putting bars on your second floor window would be the smart way of preventing the robberies? That is your argument. The drugs come in through legal points of entry, fewer, but some come in over the sea... virtually none are seized sneaking across the Mexican border between border crossings.... so why do you think a wall will do anything to stop the flow of drugs.

 

Isn't there already fencing, wall, etc. in place at critical points.

Yes he did, thousands and thousands of times... HIs campaign promise was Mexico would pay for the wall... that is an lie. He claimed the wall will help the drug crisis, that is a lie. He said the wall would stop terrorists, that is a lie. And he never had a healthcare plan that will cover everyone better and cheaper, that is a lie. And he lied about porn star payments And he lied about tax cuts decreasing the deficit, And he lied about Obama's birth certificate. And Trump stole form charity and committed fraud at Trump U. Trump lied about not knowing about a meeting with Russia, and his business ties to Russia. And the list goes on and on... Thousands and thousands of lies.

And now you are on here claiming he never said Mexico would pay for the wall... I guess you can fool some of the people all of the time.

 

Much of it is subpar ---- to easy to climb, or go around, or it is vehicle barrier only ---- and there is not enough of it.

 

To justify your argument you would need to demonstrate an illegal immigration problem via Canada which is comparable to the illegal immigration problem via Mexico.
